Lol. That's actually pretty good

Actually that would cause the ship to split in the middle & that is part of the problem they have w dealing with this problem.

Lucky this didn't happen here in america. We would have had a quick solution...

King Kong is much, much shorter

Omg ?

Bet that’s why their movie is released later here in the states, than in Japan.

King Kong isn't that big

Over the past year I've realized we only have 1 of everything that's important to our way of life, and no backups or backup plans

I love it when I come onto imgur and I see something that makes no sense to me...Any context anyone?

I was expecting politicians, but I'm not disappointed

Boat get stuck in the canal:

5 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

The world needs 'em...

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Still need an explanation as to why they don't blow the ship up. Whatever is on it can't be worth hundreds of millions an hour.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Not airstrike, but capsize and move the boat in chunks... Right? I'm no engineer, more just wondering why not.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Jeez, the memes are better than the utah monolith.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Where are they when we need them for once

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Id like to think they let the boats through and then set the boat back down exactly the same way

Now I want to see them try to pick up your mom.

Imagine being his proctologist.

Poor doctor would have to climb entirely into Godzilla's ass and say "turn your head and cough"

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Mothra also showed up to help.

5 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Kong changes his size in every movie. How does he climb the empire state building if he can literally hold it up?

5 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

this is a different canon.

5 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

That was ages ago. I'm sure you can lift things you used to climb on as a kid! Like trees and stuff.

5 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Theoretically he was a child in those movies, and now he's an adult, and plot convenience.

5 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Mostly plot convenience. Godzilla can shoot radiation beams from his mouth and fly, Kong can at best fling poo.

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

He also got mixed up with a donkey that one time, but his parents paid a lot of money to sweep that under the rug.

I doing know how one ship is causing this many problems, and at this point I'm afraid to ask

5 years ago | Likes 36 Dislikes 0

I doing the knowledge either.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

400 meters long and 59 meters wide

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Apparently sandstorm winds pushed it sideways and wedged it across.

5 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

How darude is that of the sandstorm?

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Hey leave Darude out of this

5 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

It's stuck sideways in the Suez canal and is completely blocking it. Around 10% of world shipping goes through there.

5 years ago | Likes 42 Dislikes 0

I kind of figured that. But my dumb as can't figure out why they can't move it. I'm sure there are nautical reasons I'm not aware of

5 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0

It's probably too stuck for a tug boat and you could run the risk of it being capsized since the ship has tons of cargo

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It is immense, heavy with its load of cargo, and it is now resting on sand, not water. 400m/1300ft long, and >200,000 metric tons.

5 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Big boat barely fits on a good day. They had a bad day.

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Take the wheels off a car plop it in sand and make it 10000 times bigger

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

The bottom of the canal is V shaped so it is much more shallow at the shores. The front and back of the ship are stuck on land.

5 years ago | Likes 23 Dislikes 0

And its too big to move? I guess I'm just wondering how this hasn'thappened before. I think I'll hop on google and learn some stuff.

5 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 0

I was also surprised. As far as I know, 45mph winds were enough to push it into the bank. IF that is really all it was.... wat. Has this

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Oh yeah. They're trying to dig it out. I don't actually know how it got stuck like that. The canal is a straight line you don't need toturn.
