Wow it's almost like they intentionally added the tint to take away the stark realism (that it's all props) of the images.

desaturation is a really easy way to hide flaws, you'll see it a lot in live sports events

If you could do that without making the skin tones look orange like they have spray tan on it might not be so bad.

A stylistic decision to make everything look drab? It's a marvel superhero movie, i'm just trying to make it a bit more like the comics.

The high contrast makes it look fake. I think they may have gray washed it on purpose.

Sure, but I think they were trying to make it look somewhat realistic and it helps it look more seamless. People who don't read comics care.
