So, quick info...
My gf works a late night shift at a computer software company, 3pm - 11pm (sometimes later depending on the job). So, on MLK day she only had to go in for 4 hrs. Went in at 11am and got out before 3pm :D So I said let's do dinner and a movie night.
Bad part 1: I burned the f**king dinner! It was a frozen skillet meal, garlic chicken pasta dish, and I got distracted talking to her that I let the dish burn without stirring it properly. Really sad I f**ked up in front of her; I take s**t too seriously sometimes. Thankfully she saved the dinner with another skillet meal.
Bad part 2: we watched the worst horror movie I've ever seen! It was a knockoff of the Amityville Horror vids called "The Amityville Terror". Bad across the board: acting, writing, effects. The only reason I stuck thru this 1 & 1/2 hour long piece of s**t was all the color commentary me and my gf were providing. We fast forward thru the last half and made up a story to go with it.
All and all, terrible parts to an other wise good date. We don't get to spend a lot of time together, so every second is precious to me. I love her with all my heart

Dating is stupid. Have friendships and go on adventures.

Being able to laugh about it is the most important part to take away!

That actually sounds like you had a fun evening together. It'll make a fun memory.

Also, forget those skillet meals things. You'll save a ton of money and cut way down on sodium if you learn to cook meals from scratch.
