What I want to know is, why did the 1+2=3 disappear from the board when they looked away.

And after copying all of that, our teacher informed us that it wasn't part of what we had to learn this year.

2+2= Mt. Rushmore

And this is why I now beat on shit with a hammer for a living.

More like the first part is the lesson in class and the second is the exercises you have to solve at home.

Its still like this as adult.

As an engineering student, I completely agree.

Especially with the calc classes

Same

Happened in Engineering. Lesson started with Pythagoras ended somewhere completely uncharted in 5 mins.

Ritalin for ADD throughout highschool. I quit them at the end. The first time I was in a class after that, this literally happened to me.

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I know that feel. I was also on Ritalin most time of my youth

Mhm. A wake-up call. fifteen years of drug-encouraged concentration. Going off turned me into preschool attention span, had to learn fast XD

Just wait until he's reaching for the eraser, then take 3-4 pictures so you know you got it all. Or just record the lecture.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

if you have a good angle just start recording the board, if you dont have enough view on the camera get a fish eye lens.

I can relate to the laptop guy, using calculator for 1+2

Professor be like “okay class and there’s a test on this tomorrow and my office hours are non-existent bye”

7 years ago | Likes 90 Dislikes 2

Im so glad my profs have almost all started putting lecture notes online after class. Still critical to be there, but at least you can check

7 years ago | Likes 22 Dislikes 0

Do people still visit them in their offices?

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I hear they leave the doors open these days, too much risk of being falsely accused of improprieties.

Who tf writes 9's like that

7 years ago | Likes 430 Dislikes 4

Everyone. It just looks weird because he's doing it left-handed. The true question is the 7.. bottom to top? Heathenistic.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

My 8-year-old, no lie.

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

And that 7 really didn't need to be cross.

As long as they don't write their 5s like their 8s, I'll be happy. (Ran into people who do that....)

Ambi here. I'd write a 9 the same way forwards or backwards as if I were using my right.

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I'm left handed and i don't write it that way

7 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 1

Me either.

7 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Me neither. It's not the left hand we are the top 7% of the world

Why I don’t miss ANY of my EE classes

7 years ago | Likes 52 Dislikes 4

And why I missed all of them this Semester. It's presented so confusing and out of order, and our Prof is so incapable of writing and +

lecturing, that I choose to learn from books this time. We will see what the gods of academia have in store for me in 13 days on the exam

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Yes, some diagrams & a lot of formulas with rows of calculations. He's an astrophysicist but I like watching Walter Lewin!

Got to a point with me where I just stopped going to class. Just read the textbook fully did exercises and showed up for labs.Grades went up

I assume electrical engineering

Is that hard? I thought engineering wasn't even a science.

this guy..

Cheers fellow past student. As we both have suffered through the same hardships.

I too have been a student and therefore share in this experience.

I have, in addition to these individuals, found myself in campus rooms dedicated to the studies of electromagnetism and microelectronics.

YouTube lectures, a high end calculator (does Calc and diff eq) and chegg got me through
