I watch both shows but walking dead affects me on an emotional level unlike any other show. Only GoT death that hit me like WD was Ned Stark

I can't stand the cringy dialogue in most shows. GoT is fabulous though.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Meh, It's always Sunny is better.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

GoT almost has more plot armor characters though. The number of main protagonist deaths has toned down significantly the last few seasons

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Fuck you fuck face I grew up with that Character!!!

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 3

GoT is like Dark Souls without respawns

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

These two shows are NOTHING alike. One is founded on political intrigue and the other is about post-apocalyptic chaos. I watch both.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Dead and got rival each other in terms of killing characters and in terms of fucked up shit. Read the graphic novels and stop being an ass

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I don't know, that episode of TWD was pretty rough. At least with GoT there's other stories, TWD was an hour of straight torture.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Lol, but got characters can be revived.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

After six seasons (now 7) I had hoped more would have happened with TWD. Seems really slow.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

GoT has its good share of plot armors

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

As does Walking Dead.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

in Got is called plot armor, in TWD is called dumpster.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I haven't seen Game of Thrones but I feel like the writing cannot manage to be worse than TWD.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I tried watching this with my sister and her friends and all they did was scream about never watching it again, for the entire episode

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Idk how they can follow the story when literally they just scream over the top of the show for the entire hour

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Westworld is good people die all the time and come back and get mentally tortured

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

They are machines!

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Of course a host like you would say that

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

PC vs Apple debate going on.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

We just watched our favorite character die last night, cunts. Now we have to move on with yet another staple loose.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

GoT doesn't kill off nearly as many characters as everyone made it sound before I started watching

9 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 2

Killing off a third of your cast every season is pretty unheard of.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

True, but most of the people killed are minor characters.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

They've definitely chilled out after the first couple seasons. At least as far as killing off major protagonists.

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Everybody made it sound like all the main characters were dead by the end of S3, definitely not the case

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

TWD has no balls.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 8

Did you watch it last night?

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

I think he meant *less eye* balls ;)

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

i hope the malazan book of the fallen gets a series....

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I love it so much; I'd love to see it, but I'd be so scared of having it FUBAR.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

yeah... it was really amazing! But the death count....ugh.... ^^

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

One of my all time favorite book series! It would be amazing to see the characters, casting would be SO important! Make or break.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

never works for me...i get images in my head and just ignore the actual descriptions in the books ^^

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yeah but the walking dead characters stay dead. (Mostly) LOOKING AT YOU JON SNOW!!

9 years ago | Likes 44 Dislikes 10

Yes I was very disgruntled by this. A fucking crowd pleaser, it was.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

Yeah, it's super happy how he got to come back to his whole family...

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

..."The Walking Dead".

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

You know nuthing

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Well, Jon Snow revival was at least kind of explained in universe. In Walking Dead, people just come out of dumpsters.

9 years ago | Likes 27 Dislikes 2

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

...Oh well...

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Uhh they teased Glenn dying before as well. I know it's not the same thing, but close.

9 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 3

Well, except for those who reanimated as a zombie that is.

9 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

frankly i think when they do that they're just tugging at the heart strings harder seeing any main cast member turn is heart breaking

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I think you're trying to say something between the lines, here...

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Had to watch Extras after watching s07e01. Needed to laugh again

9 years ago | Likes 35 Dislikes 2

That episode took a lot out of me, i literally went for a nap afterwards...

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Negan cracking jokes the whole time kinda evened it out for me.

9 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0

I'm kinda looking at the show as Negan being the protagonist and it makes it a lot less stressful. He's just a more accomplished Rick.

9 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Should have just watched the live talking dead, was great fun

9 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

the midseason finale of season 4 made me check out talking dead finally, i felt like i needed a support group haha

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Can't believe They killed the ginger and the Asian.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

To be honest, GoT has nothing on how many characters have been killed in Walking Dead.

9 years ago | Likes 36 Dislikes 16

The comics are even more disturbing than the show and any GoT book.

9 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 7

Lori's and Judiths deaths were fucked up.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Have you read the Damphair chapter from winds of winter. Euron is worse than all the "bad guy leaders" from walking dead

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

IThe characters on TWD are a lot funnier in the graphic novel. And it's a lot more rapey. But GOT and TWD are in the same vein of Fucked up.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Cool, I should check them out.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

They fucked up big time with The Governor. The comics one was a real psycho with no remorse.

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

Seems like they got it nailed with Negan though.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

True, 90% or so of the world's population is a lot of characters.

9 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 3

Not characters, I'm I'm pretty sure it's more than 90

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I don't count people we never met as "characters".

9 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

You shouldn't.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

They were to someone else.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Not in the story, no they weren't. Not until someone brings them up specifically and then they are a character.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Okay, 90% of the world are all dead and really gloomy. They just want to eat your brains. There, now they're characters.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I wasn't counting people we've never met. Still smashes GoT.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

For those who want to watch a better show*

Still not mutually exclusive

"It gets good after the 3rd season!" Yeah, because I want to watch 40 hours of something before it "gets good". Fucking Sasha.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 5

decent*

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 14

GoT is the most overrated show in the history of tv

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 8

True comment is true

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

I like both. GOT is a DIFFERENT show, but it's not better at all. It's like saying Seinfeld is better than The Sopranos lol

9 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 27

Translation "I don't like it so its bad"

9 years ago | Likes 26 Dislikes 47

Settle down fanboy

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

It so is though. It's like the show's creators took a giant shit on the great work done by the comics.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

It's a post-apocalyptic soap opera, with all the drama and bullshit that entails.

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 2

Nah the walking dead has become pretty bad. Its had entire seasons of shitness broken up with a couple awesome eps

9 years ago | Likes 27 Dislikes 4

Downvote me to hell, I don't give a fuck.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Just watched all the season on netflix... its shit compared to GoT

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 2

I kept forgetting that people actually waited a week for the next episode after 2 boring as fuck episodes went by.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

It does also become somewhat repetitive. When the prison was attacked again, and the people were on the run, separated, again, I dropped it.

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

I've thought on many occasions that the story-telling from both shows was just plain lazy. The source material for TWD is better though.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 18

Yeah GoT kills people to make people watch and TWD keeps people alive to make you watch.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

Yeah, but you got to give GoT credit though. They introduce 1 or two great characters for every one they kill. In TWD most of people's 1/2

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Favorites have been there since season 1-2.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yeah, not like those new characters on GOT, Jon Snow, Tyrion, Dany, Jamie, Cersei, Bran...

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

HA! good one

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I'm serious. I'm up to current on The Walking Dead and A Song of Ice and Fire books. Had to push myself on ASOIAF.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

For real. At least when they kill characters, it's done to open up a new plot or summon some real emotion.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

I think Game of Thrones is boring and depends on sex to move its story and keep its audiences

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 16

Did you watch beyond the first season?

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

Amen. Watched walking dead till 4th season, then it went to shit.

9 years ago | Likes 22 Dislikes 2

It got better again last season

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Are you kidding me? Season 5 was a great season. Season 6 wasnt so bad either

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Same! All my friends gave up after season 4 too.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Which is weird, since it only STARTED being good in season 3...

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

I watched until Beth died

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That's when I stopped too...not cause of Beth, but because of the stupidity.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That too. It has been a drama since season 1 but now it might get back to survival action

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Do we just completely omit season 2 now?

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I omitted the show from my mind the second AMC screwed Frank Darabont out of it.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Oh the hot blonde, when she fucking died I was so happy. Could have ended the governor but no wanted to ride his dick some more

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

My thoughts exactly

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Andrea, it sucks because she's such a good character in the comics and she was god awful on the show

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Yeah never read the comics but yeah in the show hated her, Lori, Dale, and the little girl

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

The characters in GoT may have flaws, but at least they don't do blatantly stupid shit EVERY episode.

9 years ago | Likes 144 Dislikes 8

SPOILER WARNING SEASON 6 GAME OF THRONES: AM REPLY TO THIS THINGY

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Although to be honest, Arya just walking out of wacky fun-time murderhouse, and tossing cash left and right is pretty stupid

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

The worst was expecting a huge twist and clever writing for the next episode. The cracks in the writing start to show without GRRMs guidance

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I saw that as part of her plan. She wanted to be found. Then she was going to lure them to that dark room where she'd have an advantage 1/2

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I saw that as part of her plan. She wanted to be found. Then she was going to lure them to that dark room where she'd have an advantage 1/2

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

But she was stabbed prematurely for her plan. We see she leads the Waif down there later. I fully believe the money thing was her plan 2/2

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

To be fair... The screen writers are out of books... I'm just not sure these last 2 seasons are going to be very good.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

I think they'll be a lot more cathartic (like the last episode of the current season) but I think our current cast is pretty set...

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

That's what being human is though, you do stupid shit on the regular <3 I mean, Sansa ratting out her own father was stupid, but she's 1/2

9 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 23

now become a character I love checking in on.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 9

I dislike show Sansa, because she is actually good... Book Sansa is basically terrible, and it bothers me they made her competent and badass

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Though she's somewhat still incompetent in the books, her later chapters are definitely my favorite, when she reaches the Eyrie.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

When I say the characters on WD do stupid shit, I mean stupid like "She may be sick, but she's my sister! She'd never hurt me!" *hug* *bite*

9 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 1

I'm trying to remember something like that past season 1 where people didn't get what happened. Can't.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Or ANYTHING involving Andrea...that's when I stopped watching. Her death and everything leading up to it was the dumbest shit ever.

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Now I reread your post and I get it xD

9 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 1

I genuinely thought you meant the people in Game of Thrones did something stupid every episode.

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

That's the difference between a show that has an end game and a show that doesn't. Characters have to do stupid shit to keep it going.

9 years ago | Likes 63 Dislikes 2

They should bring in zombie Walter White for the last few seasons. Breaking Dead. Or Walt Jr.

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

Never even thought about it that way

9 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Poor excuse for bad writing.

9 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 3

1) Yes and no. Even great shows like Lost and Mad Men had weak middle seasons when they didn't know when they were going to end. Whereas

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

2) once they found out their end dates, it was much easier to write with a direction in mind. Granted TWD has many more problems than just

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Now you're the stupid one. TWD has its entire narrative already developed in graphic novels. GRRM is too busy with shock to finish his stori

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 5

1) You mean the same graphic novels that also haven't ended and have no intention to for a long time? GRRM hasn't finished his works yet

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

2) but he's pretty close. HBO decided to put an end date on the series and he had told them major plot points he intends to use in his books

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1
