From the high desert, I'm Art Bell, good night.

Every night when I was a kid a familiar voice came on the radio in my room: "From the High Desert...I bid you all good evening, good morning, good afternoon, wherever you may be at this great land of ours, at whatever time you are -...I'm Art Bell, and I'm happy to be here and we've got a full night tonight...."
I spent countless hours listening to Art Bell when I was a kid. I often stayed awake to 2:00 or 3:00AM fascinated by the guests with stories of alien abductions, bottomless pits, government conspiracies, and the like. I'm sad to hear he has died. I always hoped he would host another show someday.
