I still have the fear of being thrown into the army for being the child of an Iranian citizen. Happened to a friend and still scares me.

8 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 8

So many pics! Great work!

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Iran looks fucking gorgeous.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Interesting how American media portrays this area like an absolute desert wasteland.

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 1

Its not all desert, alot is though and droughts occur in lush areas aswell.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Beautiful country

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Beautiful. God bless Iran

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Nice try, tourism board

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I want to see a free Iran more than pretty much anything else before I die.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I didn't see one radical Muslim cleric proclaiming death to America! Can't be the real Iran! *Turns on Fox News*

8 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 5

I had no idea that Iran was fuckin gorgeous.

8 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0

The fertile gardens for the dawn of civilization.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

As someone who's been to Iran on a vacation, i highly recommend it. It's beautiful place, good food and good people. Not much like its shown

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The ignorance in the comments is crazy. Iran has a booming tourist industry. The US media sure loves to brainwash people.

8 years ago | Likes 33 Dislikes 16

Thank you! Reading the comments are shocking. Wow.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 3

Visit scenic Iran and have your head removed

8 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 5

"A majority of tourists to Iran are religious people and bussinessmen." Literally from their tourism guide on google.

8 years ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 3

Wtf I love Iran now?!

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 1

Sigh...a lot of countries aren't what they are seemed to be "presented" . But seriously ,avoid Afghanistan , Syria -Iraq ( for now ) .

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Also ,north Korea .Rest of them are quite nice it seems .

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I feel like I saw the whole country here! Great photos, great zoom!

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

People seem great, place is beautiful, government sucks. Kind of like the USA, but more likely to make me disappear if I visit.

8 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 1

Why would you disappear if you visit? .... that's not how it works.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

I guess technically they didn't really "disappear". Not to mention tensions are a bit higher of late.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Very nice!

8 years ago | Likes 27 Dislikes 0

A lot Nicer than most of Arizona

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

... for a shithole country" -trump probably. (ayyy se what i did there? no but seriously, it's very nice.)

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

Wtf @op?! 146 photos I sat through and not one of you running v

8 years ago | Likes 83 Dislikes 2

lol I get that, I think

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

These are all the places they ran to.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Persia is a much better name. Please tell me I'm not alone on this.

8 years ago | Likes 91 Dislikes 7

well. . . if you think Iranians cannot call their own country the way they chose (thank the Islamic Revolution for this), then yeah, Persia.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I know 3 people from Iran. They don‘t know each other. Everyone introduced him/herself as „Persian“ to me.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I think it has to do with them unwilling to be associated with Iran's Government, as in "we are not that crazy, evil muslim type"

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I see no problem with your opinion. Here in Deutschland, we aren't mad that we're called Germany / Allemagne / Tyskland / Doitsu by others.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Yes, the Artist Formerly Known as Prince of Persia

8 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 0

Not all Iranians are Persian.

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

A lot of these photos look like Utah. I didn't realize the landscape could be so similar

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I was thinking the same thing! I’ve been told Afghanistan looks a lot like Utah as well, so I guess it’d make sense that Iran be similar.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Pics kinda remind me of cali

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Like..a middle eastern cali

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That place is so backwards politically that Iran.

8 years ago | Likes 38 Dislikes 16

Top comment right here

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 3

Iran so far away. Iran all night and day.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Couldn't get away?

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It wasn't before the religious nuts got hold of the place, like everywhere else in the world.

8 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 1

To be fair the 1979 revolution was the fault of the US lol

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 1

lol I am not shocked by that at all.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Wow it's amazingly gorgeous. I wish it were an age in which I could safely visit in without the nsa spying on me intensely for doing so

8 years ago | Likes 30 Dislikes 3

Or-you know-Iran capturing you and accusing you of being a spy. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/2009–11_detention_of_American_hikers_by_Iran

8 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 2

That's not how it works

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Why would I trust a cockatoo. Clearly an nsa agent!

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yeah because THAT would be the scary part

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 2

Yeah I'm good on the Middle East, most of Africa and South America. I don't want to be no kidnapee!

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 4

Oh good, looks like the fear campaign and indoctrination is working as planned

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Hey I love to travel. Just not anywhere where I need a rape door or where I might get my hand chopped off for my watch.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

south america? what are you talking about?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 5

I'm talking about cartels, poverty, and lawlessness. I'm sure it's beautiful and has wonderful people but I'm not risking my life for that.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

South America is not a nice place to be as of recent.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Well that's just not true, maybe if you go to Venezuela you might see some civil unrest but besides that you shouldn't be worried

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

I don't know, I'll be honest, anywhere in Brazil seems like eastern Detroit.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Brazil, Mexico, Colombia to name a few places where you might get your hand chopped off for ur watch.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You know you can safely go and travel right. Stop watching news

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 4

Having been to those countries, no you can't safely travel there. You can hardly even travel to Mexico safely.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Funny, my joke was about us reaction to my return, not once did I project what would be a lack of knowledge on how Iranians might view me.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Also, your right, me being olive skinned and green eyed Mediterranean male who knows a little Arabic would help but I wouldn't recommend a

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Person like my blonde hair blue eye sister who has the German genes, to go to Iran at any point.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

and Iran, Iran so far awaaaaAAAaay

8 years ago | Likes 349 Dislikes 9

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Son of a bitch. I was 49 minutes to late

8 years ago | Likes 39 Dislikes 0

I came, I saw, Iran. I did not conquer.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

9 hours for me.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

and i four hours!

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

same

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

It's not pronounce i-ran.... it's pronounced eeraan. Same with Iraq. It's eeraaq! God damn it...

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Holy Jesus! I had to scroll thru 5000 pics just find out that you had beaten me to it.

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

Same

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I had no idea the terrain was so diverse!

8 years ago | Likes 178 Dislikes 0

Right?!?! I feel as an American, that I was so ignorant to this! Didn’t realize it always so beautiful! I thought it was only desert!

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

you didn't know the Tehran was so divers? wow!

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 6

Well basically all that green is on a narrow patch of land north of the mountains near the caspian sea. Rest is mostly rocky desert&mountain

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

I made sure that this gallery features images from every province of Iran, though some are definitely more represented than others.

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Lebanon has snow and cedar trees. It's gorgeous.

8 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 1

Lots of countries are like that. There are species of palm trees indigenous to Russia. No one thinks about that.

8 years ago | Likes 42 Dislikes 2

RUSSIA GOT PALM TREES? None of my geography classes prepared me for that

8 years ago | Likes 27 Dislikes 1

Best laugh I’ve had all day

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Some parts on the Black Sea have climate similar to South Carolina or Georgia in the US. You could grow peaches if the soil was right.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

gorgeous!! you can barely see the backwards religious fanaticism from here

8 years ago | Likes 296 Dislikes 60

Iran isn't backwards religious fanaticism .Try Afghanistan .I'd be more right than you if I concluded you are brainwashed and ignorant .

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Exactly opposite of what the media wants to show you

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Some fanatics throw gays from rooftops, others bomb abortion clinics. I'd say religions are the manifestation of lawful evil

8 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 8

Asking for a friend, what's the difference between "religious fanaticism" and "backwards religious fanaticism"?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The 'backwards' is redundant when describing religion.

8 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 11

The ppl are probably great ~ If they could remove the religious overlord, we Americans could visit & give you all our tourist money...

8 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 2

CIA here. We hear you fam.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

same could be said about Ireland or USA

8 years ago | Likes 61 Dislikes 63

Mate don't embarrass yourself it's not even close to the same level of severity

8 years ago | Likes 45 Dislikes 18

women are forced to go to other country for abortion in Ireland. recently a woman died because they wouldn't allow her to abort her fetus

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 6

Fuck Ireland and everyone in it.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 3

Don't feed the troll.

8 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 5

Some countries have backward religious fanaticism, others have backward gun ownership fanaticism. It's just what you prefer really.

8 years ago | Likes 53 Dislikes 21

You misspelled: right

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 10

Sitting in the middle.. It might not be perfect but compared to the east and west...

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It's best to go and see for yourself how a country is. Meet the regular folks and see explore their culture.

8 years ago | Likes 41 Dislikes 11

Meh, we'll be headed there soon enough, not to meet people tho. 'Murica.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I’m an American Jew. Think I should go? I bet they’d love me!

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

As a very white, very obviously LGBT American... no thanks.

8 years ago | Likes 41 Dislikes 8

As a middle-aged white dude. No thanks to visiting the ME. I'm sure the avg Joe is alright, but insanity in groups is dangerous.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I love lettuce guacamole bacon and tomato sandwiches too!

8 years ago | Likes 21 Dislikes 1

oh hey that sounds really freaking good

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Have you been to Alabama?

8 years ago | Likes 167 Dislikes 29

OH LOL!

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

LOL! Alabama definitely makes people wear certain things, homosexuality is outlawed, and there is an official state religion for sure.

8 years ago | Likes 30 Dislikes 18

Fanaticism is not about what government wants people to do, but about what they want to do by themselves.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

Triggered lol

8 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 4

Last I checked AL wasn't trying to force beliefs on on others via violence and trying to return to previous eras.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 6

Have you been to Alabama?

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

It's obvious he has not.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

All religions have their own crazy

8 years ago | Likes 46 Dislikes 14

especially the Iranian religion

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Ya but there's ignorant/offensive crazies and rape-you-pour-acid-on-you-and-kill-your-family crazies.

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

And there's 'We will invade your country for no reason, kill millions of your people and take your oil' type of crazies.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

So are just more dangerous

8 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 15

Christianity doesn’t have the best record either historically speaking

8 years ago | Likes 28 Dislikes 11

Wow. The ignorance in this one. Crusades was a long time ago. Ps-Im an atheist

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

Could you define in what way and give some particular examples you think are noteworthy examples showcasing a poor track record?

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Downvoted for asking a cordial and genuine question. Amazing.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

yeah, crusdades, inquisitions, witch burnings, even modern day madness. Christians actually worry me more than muslims.

8 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 12

you're an idiot then

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Eh, any religion taken to an extreme is bad.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Well, people who use religion for power and conquest worry me. Doesn't matter which one.
