Good Guy Veterinarian

I can't bear thinking about abused animals, but we have to. Therefore I am building an animal shelter for dogs, cats and birds ?

Man is it suddenly dusty in here.

It's literally in dogs' genes to understand human commands. When the level of TRUST is genetic how the hell do people still abuse dogs?

"One for you... one for me..." - that veterinarian.

I'll sayit again - please adopt if your contemplating a dog. Your pup is ALREADY out there! And they'll love you so much, i promise

One of my girls was abused as a puppy. It took two years before I could touch he without her shuddering. Seeing her tail wag brings me joy.

3 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I'm tearing up.

That's how my Beans acted when I first got him. I saw him in his cage and instantly said, mine! He's a happy boy now. Very protective.

My last rescue passed away on Monday. Little toy pom that was used for breeding. I had her for 2 years. She learned to bark, to wag her tail

Aww.

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I did similar things with abused cats at the shelter. You'd be surprised how just talking to an animal and doing things like this works.

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That's a good human right there.

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I would be ok to see this one reposted. I’d cry again.

I find it odd to use word "humanity" in a good manner, when it was humans who mistreated this dog.

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

humans are peaceful, our socieity is organised by sociopaths to create a crabs in a bucket effect but that is the system not the people.

3 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I love humans like him.

That there is a good human

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Please don't abuse animals. If you even think of doing it, know that I'll try to find you and then I'll show you what abuse really is.

few things in life are as heartbreaking as an abused animal

3 years ago | Likes 553 Dislikes 0

My dog was abused before I got him, takes 3-4 visits for him to trust anyone.

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

An abused person also needs this level care and attention

3 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Anyone who would hurt these sweet babies needs to be handcuffed to a sandpaper treadmill.

3 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

The capacity to abuse an animal is pure psychopathy. These "people" should be registered like sex offenders.

3 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 0

Isn't it true most serial killers start with animals? :(

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Agreed, lets make ALL animal abuse illegal.

3 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Hitler did this. Made animal abuse punishable by death. It’s the one and only issue I agree with him on.

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Check if they still allow declawing in your area, and, if they do, start writing some strongly worded letters to all levels of your govt. :)

3 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

That's why we need to adopt and not shop.

Rescued an old dog that looked like he no life left. 7 years later-still with me against so many odds. Love him more than life

3 years ago | Likes 32 Dislikes 0

That's so heartwarming to hear. :)

3 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Love the casual way he puts the bowl down at the same time he gets his own bowl. Magnificent ❤️

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Dogsat a dog wouldn't eat unless I was also eating, at the table in his owner's house.

3 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Hopefully that was just training/quirk vs abuse

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Wonderful dog, wonderful owners. Probably just conditioning. I taught him to run alongside my bike. Within 2 weeks he was doing a mile.

3 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

He was previously unfit, and became fit and incredibly happy.

3 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

He went absolutely nuts when I showed up years later, unannounced. The owners didn't know what was wrong till I walked in.

We’ve had one of our rescues for 3 years and she still struggles with fear and shyness, but her capacity for love and affection is unmatched

3 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

We've had a rescue for about six months, she was TERRIFIED of me, now she curls up next to me on the sofa. Amazing little pupper

3 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

We adopted one from the streets of a near village, was with us 10 years full of love, he had a peculiar way to end the fights between my 1/n

3 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

brother and me, if we end in the floor fighting, he appeared licking our face, like saying "I don't gonna miss this opportunity", he was 2/n

3 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

love with four legs, I still miss him. (You were a good boy Kartman)

3 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Aw, thanks for sharing that snapshot of Kartman. :)

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

How sweet!! Kart man was a little lover!

Pirate was abused horribly. We have spent the last 12 years adoring him.

I promise to tell him at least 10 times a day. Possibly more.

3 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Thank you for showing Pirate the love and kindness he deserves.

3 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

He is the very best of everything wrapped up in a soft coat of fluff.

I love Pirate

Me, too❤️

Perfect name

3 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

I can't take credit for it:) the vet who saved him gave it to him. But we did add a last name of McYarrr

Wow. That's a lot of work, but worth every bit of it for that precious little dog. Thanks for posting that.

Did someone ziptie that last doggo to that fence? The fuck?

We all just need to be humane and love those that don’t think they deserve it

3 years ago | Likes 41 Dislikes 0

All dogs are good dogs. Some people are monsters.

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

This is heartwarming, but some dogs that experienced abuse will never be ok. I think it's fair to make new owners aware

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yes. The shelter where I volunteer works hard to make sure they don't see that animal again, by making sure it's an appropriate match.

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Hope For Paws. They rescue some of the saddest animals out there. Their videos kill me,but they remind me to donate to their hamburger fund.

3 years ago | Likes 53 Dislikes 0

Yeah, a lot of these non-profits orgs are almost entirely run by volunteers. We do what we can to help.

There's an extra special place in Hell for people that put dogs (or any animal) into situations like those "before" pictures

3 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

I believe that indubitably.

3 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I certainly hope so. My rescue was severely abused. He is ok now but whenever I see his scars, I just hope that person burns in hell

3 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

2 months into our newest adoption RN. That makes 3 rescue cats and 1 dog.

3 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Excellent to hear that!

I am today 4 months in. He got a juicy ham bone as reward (just for being here). So happy after zoomies

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Lovely photo. :)

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

All our pets have been adopted. 3 cats, 1 that was "unadoptable" and "dangerous" (she was a super-cuddly baby after a week). 4 dogs, 1 that

3 years ago | Likes 23 Dislikes 0

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for giving these precious creatures a chance to feel the warmth of a loving heart.

3 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Was badly abused as a hunting hound and was blind in one eye, and another that hated men from abuse but immediately loved me for some reason

3 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

Amazing what trust can accomplish. My foster-void was considered unadoptable too but he's a love-bug now. :)

3 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

Aren't tiny house panthers the best??

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Absolutely! He has the most interesting character of all the cats that have been through this place. :)

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

He still has a mean look to go with being adorable. ;)

3 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

He's not mean; I'm just a really lousy photographer.

3 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

You surrendered the sofa to him. Of course he's happy (for now)

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

If he wants my spot on the couch, he will pretend he sees something alarming outside so I will get up to look. Then he takes it. :D
