+1 for putting the time signature link that skips 5 1/2 minutes of useless intro :)

"Journey - I was born for this" is my alltime favorite https://youtu.be/noDtj0MrX2o

I've had people tell me that my music could be in videogames

This same event happened in my city last year, and my GF said it was most amazing thing.

Dont forget Video Games Live!

Yeah! I went a few years back, going again in a few months. It's awesome :D

This is Amazing. Also, hearing music from It Came From The Desert, Wings and Monkey Island made my day (Amiga medley). Have a +1

I was disappointed until I came to the last entry. FFVI was awesome, especially for its limitations

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Saw this live last year in Oslo. Awesome stuff!

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

So did I. Music has only made me cry once, and that was then.

No shadow of the colossus?

Ori and the Blind Forest, to me, is one of the best soundtracks in video game history.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I've always wanted to play in an orchestra like this. Their arrangements always sound so beautiful.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The orchestral piece for "Cleric Beast" from bloodborne is both beautiful and haunting. Check it out, https://youtu.be/NHIkUzmNmc0

I was in the Audience for this performance, when the bloodborne theme came on i got nerdchills. Sabina Zweiacker has an amazing voice!

8 years ago | Likes 52 Dislikes 1

Her voice is so clear and precise, she has astounding control

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Bloodborne theme is a fantastic composition

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

I have heard alot of good things about bloodborn. How good is it? What games would you compare it to?

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Bloodborne is my favorite "Souls" game, i've finished it up til newgame+5 and i've rerun it with my friend for Platinum after old hunters.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

It's a lot like the other souls games except it gives you more incentives to be aggressive. Good game. Worth playing.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Same! Was more than amazing!

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Wait, they played a Final Fantasy song and it wasn't from FFVII? That's amazing.

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

I've been to Video Games Live, Play!, and 4 Final Fantasy concerts. They ALL close with One Winged Angel. I'm so tired of that song.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

It's a rad song, but I'm so over it!

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

God, I was done with that song in '97. Play me Dancing Mad from FF6, then I'll be impressed

Give me Dancing Mad and Liberi Fatali. Say what you will of FF8, the music was amazing.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I would certainly be willing to embrace Liberi Fatale in such a scenario. Attack on Dollet from the demo would also be audible candy.

I adored the AC:4 Black Flag soundtrack - say what you like about Ubisoft, their soundtracks are usually pretty stunning.

8 years ago | Likes 116 Dislikes 1

Been years, never removed black flag theme as my ringtone

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

It's never the music maker's fault, or the graphic's designers fault for a shitty game.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Ubisoft is great at cinematics and music, their monologues are so perfect too!

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

I dreamed a dream the other night / Lowland, lowlands away my John

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'm playing through AC2 right now and the music has always been my favorite part.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I've been listening to the AC 2 soundtrack the past couple weeks. I'm binge playing all the ganes. Looking forward to black flag.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Not anymore. The soundtracks never returned to being as great as in AC2, ACB and AC Revelations. That said I do like the soundtrack of AC4

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

They were really good until AC4; even AC3 had a pretty good theme music. Then everything except graphic went to shit with AC Unity.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

AC and the AC2 saga were scored by Jesper Kyd, not the others. He also did every Hitman until Blood Money.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I know, Jesper Kyd is a legend :) I just wish they'd have him return for the future AC soundtracks.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Check out the Origins soundtrack. They pay homage to Ezio’s theme. It’s pretty great overall.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Will do, after I've played the game itself at some point. Not gonna buy it all full price though, Ubisoft has betrayed my trust too often

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

That’s fair. But as an avid AC player, Origins is pretty good.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Sounds good :) To be honest, the setting is what I'm looking forward to the most! :D

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Music is still music. I often listen soundtracks from "bad titles" that actually have terrific compositions!

8 years ago | Likes 35 Dislikes 0

Definitely! Honestly helps me appreciate the movie or game more

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Woah are you saying AC 4 Black Flag is a "bad title"? You take that back.

8 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

Oh, I didn't mean that game specifically. Never even played it so I can't say. I will eventually!

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Ubisoft has its share if bad titles, even if AC:4 is one of the best I've ever played!

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Any suggestions? On the compositions, not the bad titles...

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Anything from Joe Hisaishi's compositions at Studio Ghibli are fantastic. If we're talking games, Jeremy Soul's Skyrim, Koji Kondo's Zelda

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Jeremy Soule also did the Guild Wars soundtracks, which I love.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Now I got some homework to do. Thanks for the input!

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

...Just to name a few. I had to look at my iTunes library to get some ideas haha!

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I'll give them a listen, thanks! I like a lot of Clint Mansell's work on the Mass Effect series, I highly recommend him.
