As a former concrete worker….yum

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

And then some guy wades through it on a motorcycle

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

[watches gif] Thinks "I could do that." Definitely could not do that.

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

ELI5 .... does it need rebar? Or is the rebar that deep in that he can step that deep and stand on it?

3 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Power Bull Floats have been around a long time. And It’s a driveway/garage slab… they typically don’t have rebar, they have cut lines.

3 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Always need rebar specially for vehicle traffic

3 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

rebar is generally 40-50 mm (2 inches) below the surface. You can also see a mat of steel near the end of the gif.

3 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

2 things come in play here, rebar is 3-5 cm deep and the concrete rise if you step on a spot. That's why it looks so deep.

3 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Can someone explain to my smooth brain why its important that the concrete is smooth?

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Also in housing and buildings for tiling and flooring

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It looks like a garage. It's typically easier to work on / around a smooth surface than on one with lots of irregular bumps.

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Concrete is generally smoothed unless there's a specific reason for traction (see roads or swimming pools for examples).

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I need to see the ending!

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Is this an example of that skilled labor I keep hearing about?

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

Seems like a lot of work for the perfect morning porridge surface.

3 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Send in the chicken.

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Solid

3 years ago | Likes 46 Dislikes 2

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The weedeater vibrator is a really clever idea

3 years ago | Likes 60 Dislikes 2

Ooooh that’s what that is

3 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Got the idea from your mom.

3 years ago | Likes 27 Dislikes 3

No, that engine is more akin to an inline four cylinder.

3 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Negative ghostrider, remember 80s Nissan hatchbacks?

3 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Honestly, wasn't alive for most of the 80's. What I am saying is his Mom's vibrator needs a little more power than a weed eater engine.

3 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

The joke there was the cars I mentioned had a very fast inline 6

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Sounds very painful.

3 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

2 hr later

3 years ago | Likes 418 Dislikes 0

Wouldn't even be mad, natural display of nature

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

3 years ago | Likes 24 Dislikes 0

It's a feature.

3 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Is that bad for the bird’s feet?

3 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

It's bad for the entire bird when the workers get it

3 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

This shouldn’t have made me laugh as hard as I did

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Nah- definitely not two hours. That hasn’t even been finished yet. Just brush it out with the broom hahahaha

3 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Now picture this with wild turkeys. Friend of mine said a customer was feeding the damn things, even after the pour was just finished.

3 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

*angry nosies*

3 years ago | Likes 56 Dislikes 0

A bigger animal would be a problem, but I'd just leave it like that. Adds character.

3 years ago | Likes 22 Dislikes 0

In two hours it should be a lot more firm than that ..

3 years ago | Likes 44 Dislikes 0

That's what she said

3 years ago | Likes 37 Dislikes 0

Yes! You're amazing.

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Something Something about 4 hrs later, seek medical attention.

3 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

"So you're still going after four hours, that's why you're calling me?" "Hell, doc, that's why I'm calling everyone!"

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

IT'S CALLED PRIAPISM, AND IT'S ART!

My ankle hurts watching this

3 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

3 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 0

I'm surprised those don't have a lever that has to get held down or something to keep it running

3 years ago | Likes 40 Dislikes 0

They have an inertia cut off switch but as mentioned they last like 10 mm sockets do

3 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

They do. Then idiots tie them off.

3 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

And this right here is why I don’t do my own home improvement. And hope that whoever I hire is better than this…

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Sometimes it goes smoothly. Sometimes it doesn't go... As smoothly.

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

More likely earplugs so he doesn't have to listen to that motor all day. Plus he was focused on finishing his section.
