Have you considered looking into getting a 3D printer? Seems like it would be good for this? I love my laser cutter and 3D printer combo!

I think by weight, laser cutting is cheaper, and definitely faster, so I'm pretty happy with how it's working now since I can go sort of fast with my cutter

Well, if it has to be solid, sure, laser is faster. But printing can make some details the laser can't, why they complement each other well.
