This, this is art.

That's just hashbrowns.

6 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

It must be exhausting being around this person.

6 years ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 11

I had to keep correcting my brain. NOT Twatwaffle

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Should’ve been syrchup but whatever...

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I kind of love this girl.

6 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 1

I tried this. Grease dripped out of the waffle all over the counter. But, the totwaffle was very crispy and nice. Recommend paper towels.

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

We do this all the time but we never thaw them first

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I wanted to react with horror at the syrupchup but then I realized it's probably very similar to the way I mixed honey and ketchup as a kid.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

"No way to fuck this up". Observe, you fucking casual.

6 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 0

Add cheese and ham

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

A moment of desperate improvisation is how I learned waffle makers make the best french toast. The bread cooks evenly so you don't have to

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

flip it. And then the toast is shaped like a waffle with those little pockets that hold all the syrup on your food.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

WillItWaffle.com You're welcome in advance.

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I did this. It was amazingly good very crisp. And faster then normal cooking and easy to control portion sizes. Highly recommend.

6 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I was on board until the syrupchup. Then I barfed all over my keyboafffgfgfggddddddddgf.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

birdseye potato waffles, they're waffley versatile!

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

"The Martian" taught me how important potatoes actually are to sustaining oneself when facing limited-to-no other options.

6 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

Also Ireland

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

That was magnificent. We are the potato

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

At least she didn’t start with “during my vacation somewhere let me tell you how i discovered this..” bs Get to the recipe dammit

6 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Damn near tho.

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

"They are potatoes, and they will do your bidding" this is how I will think of my future children

6 years ago | Likes 188 Dislikes 0

I think I did my recipe wrong cause mine don't ever want to do my bidding...

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It’s already how I think of mine. It’s an intentional thought process.

6 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Good luck with that. ??

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I fucking hate this person and believe they ought to be hung for crimes against the culinary arts

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

You missed your chance... Twotffle!

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

This could have been two sentences and a photograph and conveyed the same amount of information.

6 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

but not the beautiful poetry, almost sage like in it's eloquence.

6 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

agreed!

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

A flirtation with sparkling verbosity

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

a dalliance in delicious diction

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Nice :D

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

We have them on the UK. They're called...potato waffles

6 years ago | Likes 92 Dislikes 0

Actually the only type of waffles I've tried. No interest in sweet waffles, they just seem.. excessive.

6 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 1

Think of sweet waffles as pancakes with grooves for syrup.

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Neither of which are actually sweet if you withhold the syrup/sauce/diabeetus

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

We also have them IN the UK

6 years ago | Likes 47 Dislikes 0

What a strange and wonderful place that must be

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Shush. Let the quarantined extrovert have his release.

6 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

Yes we need that, please...it is why I am leaving comments everywhere like goose poo. Thank you for understanding ?

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It's the same person

Another good idea is a Blue Waffle. You can find examples on Google images

6 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 2

Take it easy there Satan. Why not send them to Lemon Party for icing recipe ideas or Tub Girl for home decorating options?

6 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Hey, author here! Glad y'all enjoyed! It seems the OP left out my donation link: https://twitter.com/mspowahs/status/1240690671830183938

I made this today. Pretty good. Topped it with sauteed diced onion, 2 over easy fried eggs, and syrupchup

6 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

50/50 syrupchup was too sweet. I'm going to try again w/ the syrupchup 1/4 sriracha, 1/4 syrup, 1/2 ketchup, and top with green onions

6 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

I make these too. Call 'em tater toffles.

6 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

so a hashbrown ?

6 years ago | Likes 783 Dislikes 4

Yeah no

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

A 3 dimensional hashbrown

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Hashbrown++.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

What did he call you? A twatwaffle?

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Listen, it's not about the destination, it's about the journey.

6 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 1

Yeah basically.

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

A hashwaffle

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That A: You can make with storebought tater tots, and B: look like waffles. Basically an objective improvement.

6 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

What are you, some kind of hillbilly?

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Are tater tots not already hashbrowns?

6 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

No, the dead center of them has too much uncrispy potato but to get the center crispy the outside burns. Darn tots. IMO

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

If a Dennys-esque breakfast joint served someone tatertots (rather than either patty/shredded hashbrowns) when they ordered hashbrowns 1/6

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

that someone could rightly be a bit flummoxed - indicating that "tatertots" have a distinction from "hashbrowns". From this distinction 2/6

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

it is entirely possible that a "totwaffle", being tatertot-derived, is in fact distinct from a "hashbrown". However, further testing 3/6

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

is required contrasting the all-too-similar "hashwaffle" with particular regards to the "syrupchup" hypothesis. On a theoretical basis 4/6

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

it is this author's preposition that Ketchup/catsup is an optional shared condiment for both "totwaffles" and "hashwaffles" with the 5/6

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You shut that whore mouth with all that jibber jabber.

6 years ago | Likes 62 Dislikes 1

hashbrowns usually arent fried together despite what mcdonalds wants to tell you

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

A hipster artisanal hash brown* 12 bucks.

6 years ago | Likes 141 Dislikes 3

grated russet potatos and yellow onion cohered with canola oil, crushed with a Belgian press, with a rustic tomato puree

6 years ago | Likes 35 Dislikes 0

I’d use peanut oil but that’s just my opinion

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

$54.88

Traditional Canadian tomato puree.

My air fryer makes frozen hash browns amaze balls

6 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

I've been considering buying an air fryer, do you like it? Does it really make things taste fried without a ton of oil?? So many questions!

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yup crispy crunchy and no oil sog. Better than fried

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Wowwww. Sold!! What are some of your fav recipes you've made with it?

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I’m no chef, so far I’ve only ventured to frozen products. Fries, corn dogs, breaded veggies, hot pockets. Gordon’s fish filets!!! -fav

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The syrupchup is putting an uneasy feeling in me. The totwaffle has me intrigued. I must overcome the fear of the syrupchup.

6 years ago | Likes 563 Dislikes 0

Replace it with a semi sweet cheese sauce.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I did this recipe last week. It's like making a huge hashbrown from mcds. The syrup ketchup was amazing.

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Same. I'd rather do something with cheese, ranch and/or bacon.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I feel vaguely violated by the word syrupchup. And a little turned on

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Maple syrup. With some sriracha stirred in. Not a ton, but enough to taste it

6 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

I see your a person of culture as well

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

it's really just ketchup with extra sugar at the end of the day and ketchup is already like 80% sugar

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

syrupchup is essentially the beginnings of barbecue sauce.

6 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Fear is the mind killer.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I’ve done tot/hash brown waffles many times. I’m not a ketchup person to bring with, but I don’t think I’ll ever brave syrupchup...

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Fear is the mind-killer, the little-death which brings total obliteration.

6 years ago | Likes 31 Dislikes 0

Yeah, with the way each are usually made now, basically just a corn syrup reduction. Grab a bottle of Karo™ and call it good.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Those fear instincts are in place for a reason. Trust your ancestors. Shun the syrupchup.

6 years ago | Likes 21 Dislikes 0

I am tempted to cook up some Syruchup™ tommorow morning. Ketchup is good on the browns. I've spilt syrup on em before too. It Co kd be good

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Same.

6 years ago | Likes 86 Dislikes 0

I pour maple syrup on my bacon then dunk it in ketchup because in a fat fuck with morality issues

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Blessed sharpie of DJT, SHOW ME THE HURRICANE.

6 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Alternatively you can mix anything you'd like that you'd originally enjoy with plain old tots lol

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I have no idea what tots are or what are they made of. How you yanks call 1:1 mix of mayo and ketchup?

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Tater tots is the full name. Essentially potato babies. They're a finely chopped potato product shaped into tiny cylinders.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Mayochup. You can buy it at a grocery store. So weird.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Fry sauce.

6 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Found the Utahn!

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I mean, you gotta be proud of something like fry sauce, right?!

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Heck yeah brother

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Or just use something else for syrup. Like cheese.

6 years ago | Likes 51 Dislikes 0

blasphemer

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Dont forget to add some bacon, and if you top with eggs with veggies you have a breakfast skillet over tot waffles

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Some eggs, cheese, grilled onion, and Tabasco sauce

6 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Melt a little provolone, swiss, and cheddar, generous sprinkling of bacon bits...

6 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

I say a good quality shredded cheddar and some homemade bacon crumble. I could also see myself putting Chili on top of this

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Cheese sounds like heaven on this.

6 years ago | Likes 23 Dislikes 0

Velveeta has new cheese sauce packs! Just heat and serve...or eat it at room temp... or even free..... no dont freeze it.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

And some sour cream and chives?

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Go beyond cheese. This is worthy of Raclette.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Or onions, sausage gravy, and then cheese. And then an egg, over easy. And then another totwaffle on top.

6 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I was going to go with gravy, but... you, you have elevated the game.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It’s potatoes and cheese. You can’t go wrong

6 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

True

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

So like 90% of the Facebook Tasty videos?

6 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Maybe...I don't have facebook so I don't know about that. I'm certain cheese and tots is a win though.
