Pssh, what's the fun in a piggyback ride if you don't almost fall off and clench onto your parents throat in a death grip?

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Plus free shoulder workout

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Yeah a tiny slave on my back wouldn't be able to carry nearly as much as a backpack soooooo I'll pass

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Why is it the kids can't walk on their own 2 feet?

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Time to see if it can hold an adult

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

These kids are old enough to work shifts in the coal mine, instead they use their parent as a chariot.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Step 1, have kids.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

So Imgur has commercials now? Great -_-

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Why can't they just sit on your shoulders?

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

Kids are heavy and it's a lot further to fall.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 3

Get this, Tall guy already, go to places with really low doorframes. Break kid. Have to make a new one. Doesn't matter have sex.

9 years ago | Likes 26 Dislikes 2

Hmm make it a little sturdier and guys can use this for their short girlfriends at concerts.

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

At $284 it better be sturdy! Taking canibFrank's word for it. My "kids" weigh more than I do, so I didn't bother checking.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Omg yes

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I'd feel so safe

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

1. This is a great invention. 2. Can't wait to see first puke GIF.

9 years ago | Likes 142 Dislikes 2

Why they don't just walk?

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

How much do humans that size weigh? Having done long distance backpacking, the 45-60 pounds isn't on your shoulders, but your hips.

9 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Yup, that thing does NOT work like a backpack, at least not like one that is worth its price and is worn correctly.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I was thinking the same. Which is why I'm going to just shove my kid in a stuff-sack and carry them in my pack. Much more comfortable.

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Sounds sound

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

lazy

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Or they could just walk...

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It's very cool but I think for what it is it should be about $59.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

This is the dumbest shit I have ever seen. Who the fuck struggles with a piggyback?

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

Try extreme, off road, through the antarctic tundra piggybacking and then come say that

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Can extreme piggybacking be a sport now? On the Ocho!

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

With a kid between 30-60lbs? It's tedious. You constantly have to make sure that you're holding them or if they let go they could fall.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

My Dad had this except instead I would say I am tired of walking and he would kick me in the butt.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Or raise your kid to be a normal human being and walk.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Holy fuck that's stupid. Tell that kid to walk. Stop advertising on here

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

These brats are old enough to walk on their own. What if they slip off? That strap'll rip their arms off. Fuck it, just slap a leash on 'em

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Who run Bartertown?

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

At they age.. shouldn't be in a stroller and should be walking.

9 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 4

You don't have kids, do you?

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 4

Actually, I do.

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Yep. Piggyback rides are great but not meant for long term at any rate.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

All these kids look old enough to walk on their own

9 years ago | Likes 43 Dislikes 1

White people

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

They are. Let little ese walk!

9 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Push it faster, ese

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yes, but not old enough to go long distance without complaining. I'd find it handy for hiking.

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Standing like that for long distances won't work. Get a sling ("carry shawl") and tie them on your back. Cheaper, comfier for all, safer :)

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I have one of those already. Hurts my shoulders like hell.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Have you got one of the really long ones? There's a bunch of different ways to tie them. We've mostly used FWCC and basic rucksack ties ..

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

(3) we've got a sturdy and heavy really long woven cotton sling, a real work horse of a wrap, that we still use with our toddler :)

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

.. we've also used various carriers like ergobaby/Manduca but the "long shawl" sling has been by far the most comfortable to use in our exp

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That's neat. I don't have a kid though. In fact, I need to find a woman first.

9 years ago | Likes 53 Dislikes 1

and we all know how that's going...

9 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

Lets mate and have children lol

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Find a short one and then she could use it.

9 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

This is terrible advice. Narrowing the selection criteria will make things more difficult for the poor man.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

As a short female, I would have so much fun. Don't care if people stare!

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I'm gonna pass - It's cool and all but $284.00 on Amazon!

9 years ago | Likes 794 Dislikes 2

For 20 bucks you can get a taser and make those little shits walk

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

You could just make one for $20

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

For fucking nylon straps and a plastic shank!?

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

For 20 dollars of webbing, definitely American made

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Only if you get the one SHIPPING FROM JAPAN! You can find them for like $150.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Still way too much.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Fuuuuuuck that, my little one can walk

9 years ago | Likes 40 Dislikes 0

My 5 year old would love it. What's reasonable - < $50?

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

I would say less than 40

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

We have an $80 babybjorn, $200 backpack, several strollers. I would get this if it was reasonable but it's not. Cute but overpriced.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Just make your own

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Wow that's stupid. For e.g. $50 they'd sell 50x as many.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'm getting one to carry my wife around

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

might as well make your own out of an old backpack and some straps

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

? Its 90$ right from the makers website..

9 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

What the hell! Its a Backpack with less material!

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

A cheaper design is coming up from China... £10... Better design. Black color.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Haha 284 fucking dollars omg hahaaa

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Give it 3 months and they'll be $20 versions

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That's a fucking rip off for that shit. the material cost alone would be at most 20 bucks. Labor less than 50 to assemble.(in america)

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That shit is built with 5 times the profit margins built into its price

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Also, it's essentially a saddle. I wouldn't be able to get that idea out of my head.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Jesus!

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Replaces a stroller because it costs more I guess...

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 2

$90 on the manufacturer's website

9 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

OK, apparently $90+ on mfr's site. Still pricey, not as bad as I thought. Accessories like hip belt, hydration and storage are extra.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yea I'll just continue to let my daughter ride on my shoulders

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Geeze.. I was about to ask where can I buy one... But she is my daughter

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

That would be the mid-high end price for backpacking framed packs, which are definitely a higher design factor than this thing.

9 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

That's because you're on Amazon, on their site, it's 90. Sooo....about the same as a stroller.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The whole point of putting a kid on your shoulders is that their little legs got tired. The kid still has to stand here.

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

Yeesh. I'm making my own.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Ebay has them for $85-180 way better still a little pricey though

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Good grief that is steep. O.o

9 years ago | Likes 225 Dislikes 3

The kids can walk for 287$

9 years ago | Likes 77 Dislikes 0

Exactly, save the $292 and enjoy it elsewhere

9 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

Totally, I'd rather buy $302 of liquor

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

I mean, for my $319 I'd take the kids to the beach for the weekend.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Right?

9 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

Left.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

FORWARD!

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Damn just buy a $50 backpack and have them stand in that

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Only if you have near infant sized kids. I wrecked my backpack carrying 50-60 lbs too often.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I can make this at home for under 30 bucks. I already know how to sew.

9 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 1

As a child I used to sew sleeping bags for my G.I. Joes.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Ahaha, sunglasses bags for mine. Used to get good ones from Oakley, with camo and all.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'm jealous now, mine were just green felt.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Why can't they fuckin walk?

9 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 3

polio

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You ever taken a kid to the zoo?

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I have. She walked.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You monster

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

because they're entitled...oh God I'm becoming the previous generation!

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 5

B/c parents have taken a role of doing just about everything for children now. Its actually kind of sick to watch.

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 7

Kids' legs are short. They have to jog/run to keep up with an adult's stride. Pair that with the caloric consumption, you enter the deadly

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

"hangry" zone where the kid is hungry, tired, and pissed.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

feed them a snickers?

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Sure, why not just unleash the seventh ring of Hell while you're at it?

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

And they will still complain that their lil legs are tired...

9 years ago | Likes 334 Dislikes 3

Or their Benjamin Button knees

9 years ago | Likes 36 Dislikes 0

They'll find a reason to complain. You know it.

9 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 1

My little cousin would say that shit XD 'But my legs are so little and tired!' cute lil shit

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

what about the shift in center of gravity for the carrier... more unstable and therefore difficult to walk

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 3

..i've never had trouble walking w/ a backpack on

9 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 2

How many backpacks have you worn that have most of their weight centred higher than your shoulders though?

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

my camping sack tends to sit higher.

9 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 2

Also, it depends on the size of the child. Some in the gif are only a little taller while some have their belly button almost over the top

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Aren't you supposed to load it so that the CoG ends up lower than your shoulders anyway?

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

But camping packs have a waist strap to put more weight on your hips than your shoulders

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Still nothing above your head-

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

That photo shows us nothing about the center of gravity.
