It's a long story, but here's the short version: Military. Me coming into an office ended up exposing a senior enlisted of unprofessional relationships and favoritism with junior enlisted. Today, they were officially fired and moved to a different unit. I didn't start any of the shit that began this whole investigation process, but was the cornerstone of everyone elses argument/primary evidence (as in, I was being treated poorly while other junior enlisted were walking red carpets).

I feel like shit for it and am taking shots of Jager on a Monday, but at the same time..

FUCK YOU, ASSHOLE. YOU GOT WHAT YOU DESERVED.

Viral edit: Uh, fuck. This was not part of the plan. Uh, send... music you sing to when drunk, I guess.

That's the problem with the military. Shitty leaders don't really get fired. They just get moved.

Blue Falcon AAWWWWWAAAAAAAYYYY!!!

Don't be a prick, don't get fired for being a prick.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

@OP Scumbag SNCO fraternizing? Toss his ass straight out (after Article 32).

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

fuck feeling bad, toxic SNCOs are why many good people get out of the military. A bad command can kill what could have been a great career

+1 for a fellow Jäger fan. That is all.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

erm, no, he got himself fired and frankly you were probably just used by the investigators as comfy cannonfodder.

9 years ago | Likes 41 Dislikes 0

Well, investigators and half my office. I was just proof.

9 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

+1 for the name. You didn't do wrong, the two involved did, you were just an innocent bystander who was getting screwed in the not good way

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

does this sum up the story well?

9 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0

Yes. Yes it does.

My dad almost lost a soldier his job because he left garbage in a storage container, behind an industrial strength lock. Hell hath no fury.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

@OP as a senior enlisted, good on you for exposing that shit. None of it is your fault. Feel free to contact me to vent/for advice.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

pretty much this: FUCK YOU, ASSHOLE. YOU GOT WHAT YOU DESERVED.

I was at a small command where everybody was fucking everybody...4 people went down hard.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Ouuuuch

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

On one hand, R&M gif, on the other, stinky Jaeger? Oh well, upvoting for getting boss fired.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

SEL's and frateranization don't mix very well.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Since when did anyone enlisted get fired? What the fuck is fired? Do we have McDonalds employees defending us now?

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Fired = Moved to different unit with little explanation as to why.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Middle management. It's not a big loss.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I'll go ahead and say, it could have been that you're a sub par performer. Have you been putting cover sheets on your TPS reports?

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

99% of the stuff was going on off duty; nothing about my ~work ethic~ about it.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Drink water. Drive the fuck on.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

On water now, since, y'know I ran outta booze.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Not a bad thing. Then again, get a lift to the class 6. According to the GAT you probably drink too much, anyway.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

More info @op

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Uhhhh whatcha wanna know?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

What branch? I'm in the CG and experienced favoritism, how did it get exposed and did you receive lash back?

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

AF, it came up during 1-on-1 interviews during in inspection, and so far no.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Unless they lost a rank or got kicked out, they only got "relieved." And they weren't just screwing each other; they were screwing everybody

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Pretty much.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

was it a First Sgt? its always the First Sargent

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Na.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Don't feel bad. That kind of shit has no place in he military and sets it back. Senior should have known better/may lose rank

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Should have seen my first unit. All senior enlisted were black masons, and chose black juniors to allow in to their circle.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

She is very luck not to have worse shit happen. We are in the legal field.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I smell possible UCMJ in the future. Also didn't know it was a female senior. Rarer to see but by no means acceptable

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

She has a chance at her next office... she is very lucky not to have the MCM thrown at her ATM.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

You're junior enlisted, right? They probably already had a case building against him and brought you on with the express intention to

9 years ago | Likes 160 Dislikes 1

track how he treated you. Embrace the suck, it ain't going anywhere.

9 years ago | Likes 115 Dislikes 0

I am an E-4, so yes. And I don't know about that; I PCS'd from across the country. I do, however, think my presence brought it to light.

9 years ago | Likes 48 Dislikes 1

I've seen the way HQ works. There is an EXCELLENT chance that the reason you went to the shop you did was to blow things open. That's 1/

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

another part of the job they didn't tell you about. 2/

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Well, if you can get your sup to put it in the EPR that it was due to your efforts that corruption and fraternization was eliminated, then

9 years ago | Likes 23 Dislikes 0

by all means. Though in my experience OSI investigations are long, meticulous, and don't happen quickly.

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

OH LORD. Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

9 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 0

You did a good job. Also I found out you're AGE so quick question. WHY THE HELL CANT I GET A WORKING HOBART?!?!

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Because they're shit.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

True. So fix it.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Funding bro

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I feel that.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

If they were assigned to a different unit, they weren't fired. They were just moved. If your story is true, the problem just shifted.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Probably! But no longer my problem, so fuck it.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

You will be the recipient of those dirtbags that "shift" from unit to unit, if you stay in long enough. Then, I say you will deserve it.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

wtf did I do

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Doing shots of jager? You just fucked up. Good luck with the hangover.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I can hold my shit and rock on after, boyo

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Stronger man than I. Jager gives me the runs and a headache even with a couple glasses of water before bed.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

*Gal, And I'll totally have the runs, but whatever. Worth it.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

#justpogproblems

9 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 2

Those problems are everywhere, dude...

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

In a modern, likely asymmetrical warfare environment, the difference between Grunt and POG are pretty severely diminished.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

I'm not sure if this is a troll or not but what the hell....go on...let's here why. I'm curious.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Because where most casualties are caused by IEDs and small group tactics, they've found it to be effective to attack, say, the logistics.1/2

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

2/2 So quite often it's the POGs driving trucks and whatnot who end up as casualties. Since Vietnam this has become increasingly true.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That's quite a bold claim with zero citable references you've got there.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Sadly, I really am a pog. I used to be mx, but cross trained about a year ago. Now I'm just a fucking nonner.

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Mx? Nonner? What words are these?! Pog words! All I know is kill, kill, protein shake, and kill! Grunt happy now.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Rahhh

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

... Marine?

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

You guys are fucken wierd/scary, but I respect you.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I had a Gunnery Sgt that would welcome the other guys at 0859 and yell at me at 0859:30.

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

lame

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I got Company level NJP'd for being late. The Capt rolled his eyes every time Gunny yelled about me. I got 7 days restriction.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

WTF? Did you appeal? (Paralegal here. Indulge me)

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

What branch, I'm a legal service specialist in the Marines

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

AF

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Not for a company level NJP. The only bad part was waiting to get my good cookie and I didn't realize that until later.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Also for the record, I was actually late a few times, so I wasn't without fault.
