That was the Bicillin shot. It was so thick it had to be administered in a really large gauged needle.

They called it the "peanut butter shot" when I went through. Quite uncomfortable.

I can't find a pic, but the needle I was administered to me in was one of those large metal reusable ones like you see in 50's SciFi movies.
