Colorblind universalism is a structural form of racism. Social constructions like race build the structure we live in, with stairs for some, walls for others. Structural racism is actions that seek to protect the existing structure without removing any rot, or building new stairways for greater mobility. Sometimes we need to knock down walls, demolish, and renovate the social structure we all reside in.
