I accidentally deleted my meme album and now i have to go through every image on my camera roll.

#5 That literally could be my bathroom window, how did you sneak in? Do you like my towel rack also painted 5 layers deep?

#41 I had no idea but I got some papers coming up and I'll be trying it for sure. https://lifehacker.com/get-over-yourself-and-start-writing-in-comic-sans-1831177236

#42 yeah. I've kinda built a patchwork mask I wear. Dysthymia is a stone cold bitch.

#42 is the same with being in recovery. I was a party guy for 25 years and was scared when I got sober. Now I have almost 4 years clean, and have rediscovered my true self.

#14 I don't have to sit here and be insulted like this. I mean, I will keep sitting here, but I don't have to.

#1 A long time ago - actually, never - but also, now - nothing is nowhere. When? Never. Makes sense, right? Like I said, it didn't happen. Nothing was never anywhere. That's why it's been everywhere. It's been so "everywhere" you don't need a "where". You don't even need a "when". That's how "every" it gets.

#7 This posted with the context of being political satire is hilarious, but just so misinformation does not spread, he did not ever say this. I hate this guy as much as the next sane person, but we gotta make sure to hate the true shit lol https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/trump-coronavirus-kill-body/

It's such an awesome thing to say but it was 2 full sentences without getting sidetracked. Obviously not him.

#1 Rookie mistake. History isn't what actually happened, it's what someone wrote down. "Which resolves the great mystery of history seeming to repeat itself; it's not karma, it's plagiarism." - A. Whitney Brown

That map thing is cherry-picking bullshit. Europeans made TONS of MUCH better maps WAY before then.

2 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Also, it looks like a map that was drawn to illustrate a concept or allegory, not a map that you would use for navigation or travelling.

#22 It bothers me that they use “Europeans” with “Muslims”. The former refers to a group of nations, while the latter refers to religious belief. I see this confusion Jewish and Israeli. One does not necessarily corroborate the other. For example, I’m a first generation Egyptian/German who was born and raised in NYC, now living in the Netherlands. What’s my nation? What’s my religious belief?… What are your thought on it, Imgurians?

#47 oh damn, i'm busier than i thought!

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move.

#42 I feel so lucky to find myself. I owe all to my partner. And not to take away from all the people who tried, she just hit Yahtzee. I was a mess for so long, hid it well. And I feel like I can tell her everything/anything. She researched my “ticks” to understand my brain. And because of that, that love, I find myself laughing more, and comfortable, and loved, and all around just myself again. There is hope, if anyone is suffering. It may not be a person. But don’t give up

#50 you didn’t have to come after me like that

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

There is no way anyone can make an accurate map in the year 1151. There is no way anyone can figure out how life began and who created it in the year 700. Muslims are full of shit. Before you downvote me I want you to know that whatever religion you follow is also full of shit. All of them.

#22 The clover map is just a cute illustration reminiscent of medieval maps. Real maps were so much better at that time (you can't colonise without accurate maps). Here's a real European map (Mercator) from 1569: .

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

And medieval europeans were apparently aware of their limitations in map-drawing: The map on the right was drawn by Muhammad al-Idrisi on commission by the Sicilian King Roger II: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tabula_Rogeriana

Damn that's some crazy sexy map. Africa is impressivly accurately shaped

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Yes, it also shows how the details of the map correlate with European exploration. By 1569 the Portuguese had been exploring the coast of Africa for around 150 years and sailing around Cape of Good Hope for 80 years. But North and South America and eastern Asia weren't as well known by Europeans yet

Jokes on you I fucking hate history. Unfortunately I hate repeating it more.

2 years ago | Likes 57 Dislikes 1

I feel like this can be answered with a single word, and then that meme where we acknowledge that yeah, we set that bar too low. But I can't think of what the word should be.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Hate it so much you don't wanna see it again

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Sigh...alright well let's start at the start. In the beginning God created the universe. This made a lot of people very angry and has generally been regarded as a bad move.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I can accurately sum up roughly a third of human history, what's more, I can do it in a single comment.

"They slept."

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Those that do not learn the lessons of history are doomed to repeat its mistakes. Those that do are doomed to stand by and helplessly watch everyone else repeat them. They do get advance warning on when to get out of the blast zone though, so still worth it.

For me it's getting that sweet sweet "I told you so" after something terrible inevitably happens.

#6 I miss Boston. It is cold, confusing, and unfriendly, but I like those things in a city.

Move to London

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I remember visiting my grandparents and flying into Indianapolis and driving the car when they came to pick me up and them being like "oh no there's traffic!" And me being like "I just flew from Boston, what you can 'traffic' I call 'the best case scenario for driving'"

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Try Seattle! It’s slightly less cold, slightly less confusing, and … yeah … And the ocean’s on the opposite side!

2 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

No, I want MORE cold, MORE confusing, and LESS friendly. I'm thinking about Helsinki.

This one got me good. I watched some of his lectures on Pinocchio (which were actually interesting) before the Trumpf years and for months I got Alex Jones in my feed

Just in case, one can do Three dots next to a vid - Don't recommend channel.

Then they'll just recommend one of the other hundreds of channels reposting every fascist blog post.
