They look normal sized to me

Now I see where Mike gets his charm.

I feel bad for the crew of dirty jobs. Mike screwed them all. When your career is based on showing hard work, don't endorse a job killer.

Troll level: Parents. They'll always troll you.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

There are no germs in first class. They get the premium filtered air up there. That's why they have that curtain. So plebs don't get any.

8 years ago | Likes 54 Dislikes 0

Your comment actually made me laugh out loud instead of just blowing air heavily out of my nose. +1 :)

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 2

Read it in George's parents' voices from Seinfeld.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Runs in the family I guess, lol

Good grief Peggy!

tomorrow, a few Peggys around the world will find themselves wondering why so many people are randomly exclaiming at them.

he's a funny and fairly down to earth guy but also hardcore libertarian. he does have good points about the skilled trades crises though.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

I hope Mike advises them to get the flu shot.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Why a down vote? It's safe and naw you know what? Fuck you anti-vax idiots.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

My friend just got his hair cut and Mike was in their getting his hair cut, and he totally down played it... I would of flipped

Traveling with Mike Rowe’s parents would be a riot! Their witty banter and adventurous spirit would turn every moment into a comedy show on the road! https://zelajet.com/

What a good son

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

He always make me laugh. His parents are the best! His mom especially, so funny!

Greatest family dynamics, EVER :)

Mike Row for president, the dirtiest job of them all.

8 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 4

I absolutely love this Man!

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

And now I'm imagining all their voices as Mike Rowe, but slightly higher or lower for his parents

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Did anybody else read this in his voice?

8 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0

yes, especially for the mom

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yep. And as someone else commented I read it in George Costanza's parents voices

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I'm still reading everything in his voice.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Meh. I lost respect for him when I found out that he's a climate change denier.

8 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 7

Agreed. He also embraces fringe academia and twists facts as well as any politician. but he talks good so people trust him.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 3

He talks goodly*

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

how/where did you find this out?as it turns out a lot of people misquote him or take quotes used by him plastered on a meme out of context

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 2

Read his Facebook post: https://www.facebook.com/TheRealMikeRowe/posts/1321414314535375 Take what you will from what. He doesn't outright

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

deny climate change, but if I were a betting man I'd say his skepticism leans more towards the "I don't buy it" camp.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 3

About the glasses: not sure about surgical masks but anti-dust masks have a strip of metal on their top that you bend into (1/?)

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

A right shape and if you shape it properly around your nose you can stop air going through there and stop your glasses from fogging up.(2/2)

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

This could be from Seinfeld, a scene between George and his parents. I read it in their voices.

8 years ago | Likes 57 Dislikes 1

Same here

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Holy crap me too. Didn't realize it until your comment. I'VE GOT A LOT OF PROBLEMS WITH YOU PEOPLE AND YOU KNOW, YOU'RE GONNA HEAR ABOUT IT

8 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

I didn't realize it, but I totally read it in their voices too.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Serenity now

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

EXACTLY!!!!!!

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I did the same. :)

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Okay, but those masks don't protect the wearer. They are meant to protect from what comes out of your face, not what goes into it.

8 years ago | Likes 30 Dislikes 2

And even then they're plenty small enough to make it through the masks.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yes, but I'm guessing the biggest route of exposure is basically spit flying out of your mouth. Much bigger than viruses.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

In some places, it's actually considered a duty to wear such a mask if you are in public and sick or recently sick.

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

I did it when I was in college and had flu or something. I'm not from a country that does this, BUT I just thought it was the correct thing.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Mostly asain countries

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

how can you tell the model of mask from that picture?

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It's a surgical mask, that's easy to see from the picture. Masks (not respirators) that protect the wearer look like drywall/dust masks.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

If what you say is true, do you suppose the Dr. was just really stupid, or was pulling a prank on them?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'm not sure, not a doctor. He might have been trying to prevent them from exposing others. Or maybe I am wrong and they provide protection.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I can hear their voices in my head

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Mike Rowe has a great podcast 'the way I heard it' short stories no more than 10 minutes long and always worth a listen

I tried it; he kept stating that saying the 4th instead of Independence Day would lead to our downfall as a national. Not my cup of coffee.

Doot

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

Only problem is the podcast is like 15 minutes and a third of it is him shilling for his sponsors. The ratio makes it annoying to binge. :/

8 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 5

Oh god, The early episodes of The Memory Palace were very short. Literally 2-3 minutes of ads for a minute of content

I’m a paramedic student in a lecture about infectious diseases. This post came at the right time.

8 years ago | Likes 663 Dislikes 17

I'm sitting in my history of design class, and im going between imgur and notetaking

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

"you made me snarf yo"

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Just so you know, you will have patients like this. And they will bicker about your treatment. All. The. Way. To. The. Hospital.

8 years ago | Likes 66 Dislikes 0

How did you go

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Pay attention

8 years ago | Likes 143 Dislikes 1

8 years ago | Likes 41 Dislikes 0

We took a 5min break. I was pooping. I like to browse Imgur while pooping, as many of us do.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Then you aren't in a lecture, you're taking a break from the lecture!

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You’re not wrong.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yep. These are my parents. It’s...a lot to deal with. My mother had a cerebral aneurism while we were out shopping & after walking her to

8 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

the ambulance, her talking the whole way, we drove to meet her there. The paramedics opened the door, pulled her out on the trolley & she

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

said “you were right Quattro about that injury you have, you have been doing the correct treatment. Your Dr was correct.” The paramedics

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

faces said she’d been talking about family members medical issues the whole trip. Poor bastards.

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

You can talk while having an aneurysm? I always assumed it was a quick drop to the ground and you are out!

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

so should they be wearing their surgical masks on the airplane?

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Improperly worn masks are useless, if they put them on right it won't hurt, but there are questions about how useful they are.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

i've heard they are not so effective at preventing the one wearing them from getting sick as they are preventing the wearer from spreading i

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

especially on the plane

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I do. I don't care that I look stupid. 13 hours on an international flight, headed for an epic vacation. I am not getting sick for a week p2

Of that. Learned that the hard way. Same for the way home. Only Ill have jet lag and work. So...

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

You’re studying to be an ambulance driver? That’s cool.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Ambulance driver is a bit different from paramedic. One does the other, but the other doesn't do the one.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It’s just a little banter! I’m fully aware of what paramedics do, they’re basically fancy bus drivers with blue lights

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

._. well, you're not wrong sometimes...as both an EMT and uber driver, I sometimes find a parallel between my jobs. :\
