It's an attempt at hypernormalization. They are trying to make what Trump did look less bad by attempting to portray Harris as similarly compromised. This is straight out of the Russian propaganda playbook. Their state propaganda (not just online trolls) do this all the time whenever the Russian government gets caught doing something awful.
