Before Christmas this kid had asked me if I'd ever heard of 'link rolling'. After a few questions I figured out he was talking about Rick Rolling and told him how the song came out in the 80s, who Rick Astley was, etc. It was a fun moment discussing the evolution of internet phenomena.

Fast forward to today when he asked if he could share a link to show me a project he was really proud of that was for another class. And blamm-o, the little turkey got me. I'm kind of proud tbh.

My 9-year-old and his friends Rick Roll each other all the time. I'm so proud!

It only counts if it was Foo Fighters with Rick Astley.

You now have to go back to school because your student has become your master. Good luck with your homework. :)

Thanks! It's funny how some things change, like from budding in line to butting in line, and how others.. don't.

The student is still a child, and does not know what he does not know. But eventually he will.

This happened to me last year. This kid, bless him, explained Rick Rolling to us first, then dropped a link in the zoom chat.
