Our Catholic diocese has been cycling out "pro-Trump" (indirectly) pastors and messaging for the past year because attendance (aka, donations/contributions) has been plummeting because of it. None of the "woke" criticisms Pope Frances got buried in are sticking to the newer Pope Leo. Granted, it doesn't make the church good or absolve them of all the other shit that's wrong with them, but this is a very conservative area, so it's telling.
