Now normally I'm all for metric...but pounds is just more simple to understand for this

13 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I'm surprised he didn't end up in the hospital....

13 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Honestly it takes a lot of mental discipline to have control over your weight like this. Also, what a tasty morsel he is... yummy!

13 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

I think that about 83 kgs would be PERFECT.

13 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

A man so dedicated to acting he taught himself to sweat on command.

13 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

What about the Prestige, Terminator Salvation, Public Enemy,3:10 to Yuma??

13 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

Nothing was extreme about is physic in those.

13 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

as awesome as he is, it's not gonna be so nice when his heart suddenly explodes

13 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

I was thinking that! This is all so super unhealthy!

13 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

It's simple, we bulk up the Batman.

13 years ago | Likes 230 Dislikes 4

TIL Christian Bale isn't one person.

13 years ago | Likes 394 Dislikes 7

He could be anyone, he's an idea.

13 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

[SPOILERS] Borden?

13 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Dude, didn't you watch The Prestige?

13 years ago | Likes 56 Dislikes 0

Spoiler alert :-P

13 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

He's an actor. That's what they do.

13 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

That second photo... so lickable.

13 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

That's SO unhealthy!! ... Please just stay at the Batman stage. Yum.

13 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 2

I really thought the twist at the end of TDKR was gonna be that he was Patrick Bateman the whole time

13 years ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 0

RAWR.

13 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

It's simple, we bone the batman

13 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

whenever he's at 81+ DAAAAAAMNN

13 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

For his next movie, I'm guessing he's going to be a skinny guy again.

13 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

That can't be healthy. My buddy does body competitions and does a 30 pound sway in like two days. can't be good for you.

13 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

He was so fucking good in The Fighter.

13 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

As an American i don't understand these "kg"s

13 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 12

As a British person I still don't know how big or small these weights are. In Britain its a confused mess of Imperial and Metric.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

As another American, learn them.

13 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 1

And I also just realized I replied to a 3 year old comment

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I had the privilege of learning most of it in the military. It's not difficult if you apply it to everyday things. It is nice to know both.

13 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

yeah... time to learn the SI... you should've learnt that at school actually

13 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I see you are woefully misinformed as to the state of our education system. Learning...in school...you're cute.

13 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Is it bad I think American Psycho is the hottest one??

13 years ago | Likes 26 Dislikes 2

No, that and Reign of Fire are the only times I have ever really found him attractive.

13 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

No. I too, think he is the hottest in American Psycho.

13 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I have to return some video tapes.

13 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Not at all. He's the goddamn Bateman.

13 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Strangely enough, his physique was the least fucked up thing about The Machinist.

13 years ago | Likes 92 Dislikes 5

IVAN!

13 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

It was pretty fucked up dude..It was disturbing..I love movies which stirs your emotions in opposition to "entertain" you..

13 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

I beg to differ.. this was the most fucked up part: http://cdn.wegotthiscovered.com/wp-content/uploads/christian-bale-the-machinist.jpeg

13 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

And his physique was pretty damned fucked up.

13 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 0

is that healthy?

13 years ago | Likes 24 Dislikes 0

I think not..

13 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That is the exact opposite of everything even close to healthy.

13 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

short answer...no.

13 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

Not one bit. But then, neither are most actors.

13 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 0

Sexy, sexy, eh, sexy, eh, sexy, eh, sexy

13 years ago | Likes 208 Dislikes 9

I did

13 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I couldn't help reading this with an 'unc unc unc unc' beat in my head. Actually pretty catchy.

13 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Do you write lyrics for Nicki Minaj?

13 years ago | Likes 33 Dislikes 0

DON'T OBJECTIFY MY GENDER! or do, since thats life and i'm not a whiny girl

13 years ago | Likes 30 Dislikes 9

I'M NOT JUST A PIECE OF MEAT! Until a hot girl wants to treat me like one

13 years ago | Likes 21 Dislikes 1

I like how you simplify things. +1 for you!

13 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

muscles, muscles, skinny, muscles, skinny, muscles, skinny, muscles

13 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 1

13 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

An actual corpse is "eh" to you?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I didn't read this, I sang it!

13 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I'm partial to the second sexy myself. That's a "hella sexy" in my book.

13 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

For the Americans: 179lbs, 183lbs, 121lbs, 189lbs, 134lbs, 189lbs, 145lbs, 198lbs. Give or take a few.

13 years ago | Likes 678 Dislikes 26

My god...121 pounds??! That's absolutely insane. However, as a Batman fan I cannot upvote him enough.

13 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

-Thank you- so much for this, I was about to have to do math and that's more thinking than I like to do on Imgur.

13 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

There are several points where he weighs less than me and I am an average sized woman.

13 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

179= my favorite. Though 4 pounds heavier seems a lot more bulk.

13 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

thank you my good sir.

13 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

I'm a lady, but you're still welcome.

13 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

i like to think that he accidentally overdid the working out and gained too much muscle for the dark knight rises...

13 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

fun fact: when Bale came to start filming Batman Begins Nolan thought he was too buff and it was unrealistic so he asked him to lose 10 lbs

13 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Oh. thanks. Have an upvote.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Sweet mother of God..thank you! I was totally lost.

13 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

How many is that in Fahrenheit I don't understand Celsius.

13 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 2

Well he is an American actor.....

13 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

I had 4 months to go from 177 to 137 but damn, he takes the cake

13 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

I am still skinnier than Christian Bale in the Machinist. I am not sure how to respond. I am a fellow guy btw.

13 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

Weight is a pretty subjective thing. As long as you have the capacity to move around without getting faint to easy and are happy, good. :)

13 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Ehhh running after a short time still gets me tired. Lazy and out of shape.

13 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

As a 5'3" lady: TIL I weigh more than Christian Bale sometimes. :(

13 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

you mean "people in the US" -- they're the only one using lbs.. the rest of America (the continent) uses Kg

13 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 3

thank you I was beginning to worry

13 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

121 lbs?? daFUQ

13 years ago | Likes 24 Dislikes 0

you didn't see The Machinist? He was crazy skinny

13 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

Thank you! I really didn't want to have to multiply the 2.2 lbs /kg :)

13 years ago | Likes 27 Dislikes 3

Dammit i was going to make that comment.

13 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'm an American and I perfectly understand the metric system.

13 years ago | Likes 25 Dislikes 3

well LA DEE DA

13 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 1

Kudos, now convert everybody you meet.

13 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 1

"Excuse me sir, would you happen to have a few minutes to discuss the metric system?" I'm gonna do it :)

13 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 1

+100 if you do it to a church

13 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

challenge accepted :)

13 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

When I see Metric I always think of Abe Simpson saying, "My car gets 40 rods to the hogshead and that's the way I like it!"

13 years ago | Likes 75 Dislikes 3

I always think of Eddie Izzard, commie metric system!

13 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

My auto gets 30 hectares per deciliter!

12 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I have no idea what I'm talking about

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

This actually works if you're driving a harvester or something that can be measured in area. For every m^2 covered, you use 3.3e-9L of fuel.

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Mathematical!

12 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That's how the rest of the world feels about Imperial. And Metric is much more logical anyway.

13 years ago | Likes 37 Dislikes 3

(1/2) Shhhh, that doesn't matter. I could argue about how the only thing that makes more sense about metric is temperature, but seriously

13 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 3

It's only more logical for math. In terms of general use imperial is more sensible. Ex. in that picture there is 45kg variation vs 77lbs.

13 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 4

It's also logical for comparing different base units. 1 liter of water weighs 1 kg, and 1000 liters of water is one cubic meter.

13 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

Also true, though frankly I don't do that with any frequency.

13 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 3

(2/2) we should get on the wagon. It has nothing to do with national pride, it's just irritating. Why do socket wrenches have different #?

13 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 4

because you said, "Shhhh," I automatically read this in a whisper

13 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

It should be a whisper, because (I wish I could say anything at all in a smaller font)
