Super happy with how the paint came out on this! All set up in the SOFA Quad State gallery
I love making roses, and making them giant is a fun challenge. This one is finally all finished with the forge work, needs cleaned up, welded and painted still.
A pair of my hand forged roses finished about to go to their new home. One painted and one with a traditional oil finish. I really love making these.
Finally got around the painting the rose I forged a couple weeks ago. Thinking about buying an airbrush to up my paint game but this isn't bad for rattle can.
Hand forged snake fire poker AKA solid snake
Did my first ever live demo/class on my steel roses. It was a very fun time and I can't wait do do it again.
My cousin wanted some extra long fire pokers for camping and I obliged. Always feels like magic when I forge weld successfully.
New baby hammer birthed in flame! I went to a blacksmith gathering this weekend and with the help of some friends to strike for me made a diagonal peen hammer. Nothing makes me feel better than some heavy metal therapy.
Hand forged horseshoe heart
Been battling depression the last 6th months and I've found it hard to feel creative. Finally made myself go out and just make something simple, while I'm quite rusty, it felt great to swing a hammer again.

Moon bench getting closer to done!
Just a few little updates to the mon bench.
My daughter loved the flower on the bottle opener and asked if she could have it. She's 8 so not much need for it. I put a bunch of flowers on a 6" disc for her. Needs a bracket to hold it on the wall still.
Who is it?
Small update on the moon bench.

Tinned something interesting today: prototype new copper pan, made in a very old way
Forged a vase and flowers to go in them
First cook: My buddy who's a chef and hobbyist blacksmith wanted an 18" tinned copper paella pan, so he did the reasonable thing and forged his own, complete with wrought mild steel handles and forged copper rivets.
