I've always stood by this: if I was in this situation, I would shit myself, violently, have some kind of severe cardiac event, drown, die, and the shark would most likely swim away without coming near me

sharks eat seals, just do your best to not look/act/smell like a seal and hopefully the shark wont be hungry enough to try to eat you anyway
