There will not be elections at 2028...

MAGA gets the first part of every question correct: ".....Wut?"

When I first heard about this I had just woken up and I really misread that title. I'm very happy with this outcome, this is the better outcome.

2 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yes, I want that candidate. I want the message to be loud and clear that justice will be served, so if you enabled this then either flee the country or get ready for prison.

Nuremberg 2! Don't let Democrats sweep this under the rug!

2 months ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

That's because they dont watch jeopardy, they watch trash "reality" shows like Dog the bounty hunter.

2 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

None of the people who would be offended, watch. They only have one answer for everything.

2 months ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 1

Don't count on the old guard dems

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I mean, they have a 100% track record in fucking the people... however, they have no problem voting for universal healthcare in Israel.

Ken Jennings is stand up dude. He stuck by his friend The Bean Dad when he got cancelled.

A note that I had a hard time coming up with a title, and original titled it "what is a 'hoe'?" and then realized it might imply I was talking negatively about him... so I gave up.

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

What's wild is NO ONE has said this yet.
Let me repeat that. N O T O N E D E M O C R A T has begun the "we will impeach at every level" conversation yet. None. We are so fucking far gone.

Because the Dems are willfully feckless. Most only care about self-enrichment and filling their campaign coffers. They're just less overtly evil than Republicans.

The CR expires and appropriations are due at the end of the month. Chuck and company are already signaling they will not use that to extract any concessions on DHS thuggery or military actions without congressional consent. They'll offer worn lies about the midterms when they fuck us (as if swing voters have more memory than a

Lobotomized goldfish with advanced Alzheimer's).

Too bad the democrats will never actually run one of those, and the best we can expect is a milquetoast “return to normal” candidate which will fall far short of even that. The damage is too vast and Democrat leadership is still shying away from so much as suggesting we defund ICE. Jeffries fucking deflected, and Schumer refused to comment, iirc.

I agree but I have some hope considering the number of people running in the next election who aren't your typical candidates.

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

In fact, I might actually start watching jeopardy again!

2 months ago | Likes 125 Dislikes 1

It is the one show I have watched religiously since the 1980s... I actually started studying subjects so I would know the answers to Jeopardy questions (Greek mythology, e.g.)

I don't think that "forgive and forget" is appropriate given this level of corruption. Mass incarceration has a certain appeal.

2 months ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Maybe to a Supermax in Central America?

2 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Jeopardy is a little too intellectual for most magats anyway.

2 months ago | Likes 184 Dislikes 0

They get confused when contestants reply to the prompt the host puts out.

2 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Little? It’s WAAAAAY too intelligent for the majority of Republicans. They despise intelligence in any form.

2 months ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 1

yeah, jerry springer is more their level.

My MAGA family loves it. It's crazy seeing a clue like "This mascot of a Japanese franchise is an electric rodent that only says its name" and then having their fucking minds blown by the fact that someone under forty knows who Pikachu is like you'd just asked them who was the Earl of Northumbria in 1065.

Who's Tostig Godwinson to you?

soooooo it wasn't Uhtred son of Uhtred I take it...

It will take a lot of prosecuting.

Nah we just walk them passed a judge and then out to the yard to dance in the air for a bit before the next batch.

Literally Spandau Ballet

I learned from this administration that the President can make one single executive order to mass arrest groups of people and send them to foreign black sites. Let's start making groups of names right now.

2 months ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

I'll make it easy 'Republican' 'Republican financial backer' there the republic is safe once all of those are no more.

2 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

We have quite a few lawyers in this country who can help with that

2 months ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

We can't fuck around this time like we did after the Civil War... we should have executed every Confederate office-holder and every commissioned officer of the Confederate Army (esp those officers who had sworn an oath to the US Constitution previously).

Uncle Billy told us what had to be done or we were just going to be going around the same mountain again in a few generations. Turns out he was right.

2 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Who's Uncle Billy?

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

General William Tecumseh Sherman served during the US Civil War, most famous for the taking and razing of the Confederate city of Atlanta.

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Isnt this the guy that won for like a month straight?

2 months ago | Likes 31 Dislikes 0

More than and he took over when Alex Trebek died

2 months ago | Likes 33 Dislikes 0

It was 74 games straight.

TBH, I think he should have done a run doing H&R Block ads.

2 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

He did do a few commercials but none that referenced his knowledge or the sudden need for more advanced tax preparation. Missed opportunity theee.

2 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

74 games is insane. Did they finally find someone to beat him?

2 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Just some rando who beat him in final jeopardy... she lost the very next game.

There is a trend where a long running streak is broken by someone and that person implodes their first time out as champion.

The all-time earnings record goes to Brad Rutter who won $4.9M (mostly in post-season tournaments)

2 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

sometimes you dumb down the trivia so it's more likely the other contestants can answer correctly.

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Ah, the Great Jeopardy Conspiracy... TBH, it has a lot of evidence to back it up tho...

I’d like to see said fiery post.

2 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

If only I had included it above.

2 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I guess when they say fiery post, I’m assuming something more substantial than a tweet. That’s all. Here’s the article post, anyway: https://www.huffpost.com/entry/ken-jennings-takes-fiery-stance-against-trump-regime-in-wake-of-ice-shooting_n_695fcf5ee4b07c500938cabb

So, a reminder that almost all internet headline writing is an anathema to responsible journalism and the AP Style Guide... esp from a site like Huffington Post (I didn't create the meme, I appropriated it).... and the preponderance of weasel words like 'destroys' 'fiery' 'eviscerates' etc. is an indicator of that irresponsibility.

2 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Fair enough.

2 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

If you want to see what a headline should look like, check out the NYT, the Washington Post, etc... (they are corporate propaganda rags, so ignore the content, but they do follow the AP rules)...

If you want to see the worst examples, look at the NY Post or nearly any Internet Click-Bait magnet (clickbait headlines are specifically called out as evil by the AP).
