Odd. Not trying to be the wet blanket here, but don't spiders generally avoid water? Is it trying to protect it's web, or drawn by the vibrations?

Its been very well documented that the hairs in the joints of spiders' legs are sensitive to water and that it sends a carrier signal to the spiders nerve center simulating an orgasm. I know this because I made it up.
