** Front page edit** Hey all! Thanks for checking out my post. It's a lot juggling all this DIY, full time job, and raising a family. As they say, if you enjoy it, then it doesn't feel like work. I appreciate every updoot and comment. I'll continue to share my progress and passions in all facets so long as you're enjoying them.

Here I am Helping my brother cut some videos for his meat shop this week. Here he is breaking down an Inside Round. Round steaks, cube steaks, fajita meat and stew meat

He gave me my work notes.

If you haven't been searching your local online auction sites, you should!! Scored this ps5 edge controller for $63. It was mislabeled as a ps5 controller. These sell for $200 all day.

New concoction in the works. Ground bacon and burger jerky in the dehydrator. Turned out bomb. 165 degrees for 7 hours.

I'll buy anything on auction apparently. Ha. Scored this porta potty from auction for $350. Problem was trailering it up north. I couldn't find one in half of good of shape for less than. $800. Servicing it is only $60 per time. Not even a monthly deal.

Porta potty all cleaned out before I moved it. Thing looks brand new.

Picked up this shed for $450 online. Trying to get someone to move it cost even more. $503. Well for $950 you can't build it for that. Just needs a few new pieces of wood and some fresh paint. Powewashed recently.

I already used some odds and ends to fix it up a bit. New framing and that rotted out bottom piece under the door. Have to redo the shingles and plywood next year under the edges only. Rest of it is in good shape

I guess I did too good of a job because 2000+ views later, my brother wanted me back to cut some more videos. Here he is breaking down a full chuck roast. These are Denver steaks. Chuck eyes in the background.

This is the whole chuck. Chuck steaks, Chuck eye steaks, Denver steaks, roasts and then grind the rest. Video here if your interested in how it turned out . https://youtu.be/i_Ypw4EXWYw

Newest table I made. This is red oak. 36 high and 46 long. 12 inches wide. Chainsaw milled myself.

Back up north I was enjoying some fresh picked black berries. Bears have been eating most of em. Been pretty active lately getting ready for winter I think

This is what happens to birch wood when you let it sit out for 5+ years. Rots on the inside and leaves you with those negative wood. This is only a fraction of what previous owners left me.

Some home made bacon wrapped chicken wild rice and cheese.

On to some other home projects. Finished up putting on some new stair boards. My other ones were rotted, mossy and unsafe. Whoever built this deck with closed in sides. Shame on you.

Filling in some rotted landscaping. Packed in some green treated wood and foam. Prime and paint next. I sure hope it's better than nothing. See how it looks next year.

This is what I did with my old deck stairs. Made a cute lil walkway on top of some old 2x4's. As you can see the dogs get the zoomies and ran a track into the wood chips.

Doggo tax. These guys are always ready to go home. Ha.

Dude, this is awesome! I want to try the jerky now!

Negative wood. You’ve described my personal life perfectly. Wood and meat and knives and outhouses. No notes. +1. 5/7 content.

I feel like I saw this exact post maybe a couple weeks ago. I remember the parts about the cheap ps5 controller and the porta potty.

That was probably my other post about the cheap ps5 controller and porta potty. Ma bad. I'll have to say something if I ever see another sponge bob around here. Reusing material... how dare they. ; )

Their budget is $2.6 million

Ha! Didn't think of that play on words. Funny.

Hell yeah. At my old job before making ground chuck my coworker would just take the chuck eyes out and hand em to me to cook em up for lunch

They are so underated/unknown and delicious. My preferred steak tbh. #thegoodoldays

Genuinely curious - why did you want a portapotty?

That is a great question! Where i live and where my property is, it would take a lot more money and effort to pull permits and build an outhouse. I could do a contained outhouse where there is no vaulted pit. An incinerator toilet needs supplies to run and cost $3000. Also to have a complaint outhouse you need a maintenance plan verified and checked off by city /county workers. A porta potty side steps all of that. Initial cost is low - $350 in this case. No permit. And 60$ to service it.

Incinerators also cost a great deal to run. The papers are surprisingly cheap, but unless you have solar or something, even after the 3k, expect close to a used car payment every month lmk 150 tacked onto your electric bill easily. Thinking "is this big dook also gonna cost me eight dollars to burn" is not a good feeling on the can.

I'm thinking of doing the same thing. I have some land but a very small house, so friends can choose to camp when they visit. A porta potty is a great solution.

Also something i was considering. Always had the camper... but didn't want everyone using it.
