UserSub has basically become useless. Does Trump run Imgur now too? Because disabling the spam filters was such an obviously stupid thing to do that it amazes me Imgur even considered it.
If the goal was to increase post volume, this is exactly NOT how to do it.

I can sort of see it if they're starting to reintroduce filters based on which posts are clearly loathed most. No sign of it yet, though.

@ilsalta I'll let you know what's working for me - just block the users that post all of the political stuff. I got fed up with people not tagging their posts, but with them blocked, I could enjoy my time on here once again. Now with the filter turned off, I still see very little political posts since the individual contributors are blocked.

It's crazy that with all the political activity, it came the day before the April 5th protests, and the day after the tariffs were enacted. It's almost like it's trying to bury something.

I’ve also seen a significant increase in specifically right wing political ads as well (in the US) appearing. Read the fucking room. Sadly, think Imgur might be heading for the exit. Used to be a fun site to see funny memes.
