So i used to work in an Amazon warehouse.
I was a picker at the time, going up 50 ft shelves in basically a reverse forklift with a cage behind me.
Suddenly the alarm goes off, have to descend as get off, head to the exit, outside.
This is in Pennsylvania.
Its winter.
No jacket.
We stood out there for going on 30 or 40 minutes because someone hit a water pipe and flooded a ton of narrow isles (theyre like 5 inches wider than the PIT youre driving, thankfully wire guided)
Then we went inside and just sat in the big break room for anther hour.
They had to remove alot of stock due to water damage.
So that happened... my first work story... my life isnt exciting

I need to know more about what happens at Amazon. I'm amazed by my next-day delivery. Amazed!

Means separation of employment... the ppl who deal with leave is completely separate from the facility HR and managers... So :/
