I will never understand those types. The aunt who sent this to the family txt group has, obviously, lost her marbles. Until 9/11 she was a fairly middle of the road person politically, but became convinced, I believe by her church at the time, that "Mooselims" are coming to kill us all.

An authoritarian mindset is extremely common among the religious right. The only real contradiction is their pretense that they have some monopoly on morality and liberty.
