I'm actually a little aroused by this staircase.

One day I will build my own house just so that I can have this room.

Bibliophiles Anonymous? We hold our '1 day since last reading' chip in our right hand while our left is holding our book under the table.

That 2nd room is maybe the most beautiful room I have ever seen in my entire life and some one is cutting onions at work

Isn't it though? The window, the dog, it all perfect. The only thing I would add is a cup of tea and that would be my heaven.

Ugh it's making me even happier to be looking at my work monitor now ffffff

Wow, OP, wild and awesome Book Porn - complete with a sad cat - I too love the first staircase. +1

I'm pretty sure the cat has just finished a book that lacked closure and is now in an emotional void.

Usually if I like someone I lend them a book. Good links are my online equivalent: http://theoatmeal.com/comics/cat_vs_internet

I would only want the staircase to have a bit more skill applied to the painting. I'm a perfectionist. >.> But other than that, holy yes.

I quite like it - its homely and authentic, and I would guilt myself too much if I spilled muffin crumbs on it!

Oh yeah. No shoes would be allowed on the stairs. And muffins would be restricted to the plate until safely on one side or the other. Haha

And if someone spilled tea? Staircase sacralige!

My one regret is that I will never have enough time to read all the good books in the World. Or have a fabulous library like some of these.

I never read the same book twice for this reason

A wise plan indeed, I have never thought of it that way! I wish I could take back the hours I spent reading Twilight 4 times over :/

I re-read specific books at particular times - Persuasion when I'm ill, Tamora Pierce when I'm job hunting etc. Now that feels so frivolous!

I'm determined to get have a library of my very own one day. My hobby would be rearraging the catagories and smiling smugly.

There is something infinitely satisfying about having your books in order... Life is a bit harder, but books, books I can handle.

Yep, its like my mind goes quiet and all I want is to have a cup of tea and gaze at my lovely bookshelves. Bookworm meditation.

Indeed, you've got it! There really is something about tea, a comfy couch and a book nook that makes it the best little sanity saving refuge
