The voting public established last November that it doesn't give a fuck about personal autonomy. They had their chance to vote out the party that overturned Roe, but instead blamed the Dems for not passing it in a way that the Supreme Court couldn't overturn, a task which is both absurd and impossible. If corruption was punished at the ballot box, politicians of every stripe would leap to fight it. But Republicans haven't paid for their corruption since Nixon, and so here we are.

Well, I guess there was a silver lining in not being able to get my kids a diagnosis after all. Been struggling for years with it, and knowing if we could get an actual diagnosis that we could have access to more resources for them. But everytime we get to the tip of a screening waiting list, we get told, "oh BTW, your insurance doesn't cover this so it's $700 upfront." Or worse, "you're insurance only lays part.of this, we need $500 today or you're moved to the bottom of the list".
