probably one of the best Reubens I've had in the US including from NYC Jewish delis. always a must stop whenever we're in Palm Springs.

What kind of cake is it? Where is this deli? Looks delicious

Sherman's Deli is in Palm Springs, CA and it's their San Jacinto cake... "rich chocolate cake layered with cheesecake, Bavarian cream, cherries, and chocolate mousse, all topped with chocolate buttercream and ganache". Basically a cheesecake sandwiched in between 2 layers of chocolate cake.

The top layer looks different then the bottom. Maybe one is pastrami and the other is corned beef.

Looks like what made that be called a 2 bagger. Corn beef and pastrami.
