Today I'm parked by a lake. Decided to do some fishing.
I worked on my rig last night to make the bed a bit more even. SO MUCH MORE COMFORTABLE NOW!
My storage bins are built for purpose and now they don't slide around. Suuuuuper convenient.
The story behind the settlers that got stuck in a nasty winter and had to resort to cannibalism to survive is pretty brutal. Pretty gnarly.
My panoramic view of Donner Lake.
To the right, snowy mountains.
To the left, more snowy mountains.
In front, abandoned railroad tracks with tunnels. Might explore later.
I just lost my chair to the wind.
I'm not mad. I'm grateful for the lesson I just learned, and I'm grateful for the beauty of this place.
Life can be hard sometimes. It's ok that things aren't ok. It's fair to take a day off to be with yourself and listen to your body and your heart, and really talk to your soul by giving it love.
Love yourself and keep it simple. Life doesn't need to have all the drama we surround ourselves with.
EDIT: FISHED OUT MY CHAIR.
