The first comic I ever read

I read a post earlier describing the first comic that someone read. I would love to see more people showing us their first exposure to comics.

I learned to read at an early age. My parents decided that I was something of "a Sheldon" and brought me home anything they could get their hands on for me to read. By the time I was 4 they stopped taking me to the children's library and started having me bring home paperback novels to read. (I didn't get to read Dr. Seuss until I was 8 or 9 and I only managed to read one or two of them before the school librarian stopped letting me check them out) Each week my folks would take me to the library on Saturday to bring home another stack of books. We didn't have the money to buy books so when someone purchased something for me to read it was a major event. I've always enjoyed reading but when my Mother brought me home those Marvel bags with 2 or 3 comics in them from the grocery store then I was seriously happy. The 3-comic bags were the best because you never knew what the 3rd book was until you got it home!

This was the first one that I remember reading and I couldn't begin to count just how many times I re-read it. Something about Tony Stark fascinated me. All of his powers and abilities came from his skill as an inventor. I've spent most of my adult life building and fixing electronics of various kinds thanks entirely to having read this comic book when I was a kid.
