This kills the wasps

1 day ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

This seems like a good method to set your home on fire...

1 day ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 1

If the nest is that inaccessible, why fuck with it?

1 day ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Just imagine the chaos of a dozen or so of these in a major metropolitan area. Fire of London, eat your heart out.

1 day ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

It's the movie Independence Day for wasps

8 hours ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Is there another drone filming this?

1 day ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

I certainly hope so. The alternative is unthinkable.

1 day ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Does it also remove orcs?

10 hours ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Just a thought ... maybe this can be used to treat Nazis.

1 day ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Fire takes a long time to kill. During that time, they're flailing about and causing unnecessary property damage.

Why not spray pesticide instead of burning the building?

12 hours ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

me: oh that’s interesting… must be some sort of bee killer spra—HOLY SHIIIIIIT!

In a way, it is.

This is so unnecessary why could they just do what this guy did: https://imgur.com/fjwhWhM.gif

1 day ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I really hope this guy got violently ill.

1 day ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

I have to admire how unhinged this is. I was not expecting him to eat the wasps

1 day ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

He even provides his own Godzilla music.

That drone is going to get stung so bad

1 day ago | Likes 103 Dislikes 1

Who is footage somebody posted of a drone flying up to a wasp nest and then you see all these wasp buzzing around it until a couple get hit by the rotors and chop the pieces and then they just swarmed the rotor and it drops out of the sky

19 hours ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'm hoping for a counter-attack like when the Vale army rescued the Starks.

1 day ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

1 day ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

This seems every dramatic, and leaves a big black Scorch mark on your white building. Seems like with exactly the same equipment, you could douse the nest with a quart of wasp killer.

1 day ago | Likes 52 Dislikes 0

I guess, if you hate fun.

1 day ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

That's what I thought they were doing at first, then the fucking flamethrower made an appearance.

21 hours ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

you could, but then your second drone wouldn't get content.. Think of the click....

1 day ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

1 day ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 1

Is there a second drone for soot removal?

1 day ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

maybe i just havent had a run-in with a wasp in a while so i've mellowed out a bit, cause i fuckin hate wasps, but that does seem cruel. like imagine aliens just put your whole city to the torch

1 day ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I don't think wasps can program a computer virus, so I think we're fine.

1 day ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

keep an eye on your soda cans for any wasp-sized pistol shots

19 hours ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

When wasps have their own Jeff Goldblum I will start to worry. So far only flies have achieved that.

16 hours ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

sorry but that thing need to be bigger in Australia

1 day ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

Eh Japan has the dibs on the oversized hornets.

1 day ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

1 day ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 3

Hey don't you use Jaime like that, the mad king said burn them all, Jaime slew him for that

1 day ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Are these an invasive species, which are damaging native populations? Because otherwise, why are they destroying natural pollinators?

1 day ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 2

Fuck wasps.

1 day ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Looks like an Asian Hornet nest. Very invasive and yes, they prey on honeybees

1 day ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Fair enough, they can F right off

1 day ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

responsible use of the arson-drone

1 day ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 2

It's just a matter of time before we see an article about irresponsible use of the arson-drone

1 day ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

i can't imagine anyone would use the arson-drone irresponsibly

1 day ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 2

The thermite drones in Ukraine are nice to watch. Probably two hells to experience, but nice to watch.

1 day ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

I would love an arson drone.

I have a lot of uses for one, and some of those uses are probably legal.

1 day ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

You can buy the flamethrower attachment online. Getting the FAA permit isn't easy, I checked into it for entertaining

1 day ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Pyrethrin powder seems a safer option.

1 day ago | Likes 25 Dislikes 0

Guy with a pesticide ticket here. Those pesticide classes are not particularly quick unless you use the artificial ones. The naturally made ones are very slow acting

19 hours ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

that's not cool though.

1 day ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

But THIS *nukes the nest with a flamethrower drone* sends a message!

1 day ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I'm not against vertical filming, but if the thing you're filming is two things side by side and a fair distance apart, and you choose vertical, I'm going to question all of your life choices

1 day ago | Likes 30 Dislikes 2

People nowadays use the mobile phones to record videos to be watched on mobile phones.

1 day ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 14

You can rotate your phone 90 degrees and record landscape.

1 day ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Just on some platforms.

1 day ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 3

I am fairly certain this video was not recorded by a human on a mobile phone.

1 day ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

You know you can turn your phone to landscape when watching a video, right? (and If the app won’t allow it, then it’s a POS)

1 day ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 1

Yes, I do, it can be done in YouTube, for example. But it's not possible on Instagram and some people make videos only to upload there.

1 day ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Nest is still there when the video ends... I'm not convinced.

1 day ago | Likes 357 Dislikes 4

Yea. I dont trust those little assholes either.

23 hours ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It’s there but it’s dead

1 day ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

for a crispy snack later

1 day ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It's an empty house now

1 day ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 5

It wasn't about removing it, it was about sending a message

1 day ago | Likes 47 Dislikes 0

Nuke it from orbit. It's the only way to be sure.

1 day ago | Likes 22 Dislikes 3

...it was on fire....

1 day ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 2

Only on the outside...

1 day ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

What would put the fire out?

22 hours ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Sprinklers, Wasp firefighters, the heat-death of the universe, wasp engineering is crafty.

21 hours ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Are wasp nests of this size thermally insulated to the point the wasps on the inside aren't cooked? I have my doubts :p

1 day ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Very likely yes

1 day ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Yeah but at least they left giant scorch marks all over the place.

1 day ago | Likes 93 Dislikes 0

They won't be able to afford the insurance and will soon be evicted

11 hours ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That's what the pressure washer drone is for

1 day ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 1

Modern Problems Require Modern Solutions

1 day ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I want to see a drone spin out of control when spraying high pressured water.

1 day ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Were other methods considered, or was the only candidate?

1 day ago | Likes 199 Dislikes 3

18 hours ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Wasps serve no purpose, much like mosquitos. They eat the pollinators. Fuck it, burn them.

20 hours ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

I thought they pollinated as well, no?

18 hours ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

They do. Without wasps we'd have a big problem.

16 hours ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

THIS IS THE ONLY APPROPRIATE METHOD!

I WILL NOT BE TAKING QUESTIONS AT THIS TIME!

1 day ago | Likes 135 Dislikes 1

The Dalek couldn't handle the stairs

22 hours ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

This was the only appropriate method.

21 hours ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Well they tried to get spiderman to climb up to the top and pull it off.... but there were some crossed wires in the delivery of the message..

1 day ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I feel like there was a convergence of, "hey I got this new drone with a flame thrower attachment!"

"That's funny cause I was just trying to figure out how to deal with this huge wasp nest!"

1 day ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

The eviction notice had been ignored.

1 day ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

When the only tool you have is a hammer...

1 day ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

They could've taken off and nuked the site from orbit, to be sure.

23 hours ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

If this was a method that was available, would you pick any other?

1 day ago | Likes 65 Dislikes 1

I would send at least 2 drones. Wasps only respond to displays of power

21 hours ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Hell no!

1 day ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 1

Hellfire!

1 day ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I like the spirit though

9 hours ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Ok maybe that one would be a bit excessive, and I've cleaned up the aftermath of one in Afghanistan in 2011 because it was in the middle of one of our routes to our main strong point and some Taliban were trying to setup an IED, drone saw. Drone dropped hellfire. The three guys were fed into the pyramid stacked concertina wire like they were passed through a wood chipper. All I was able to find was a foot, everything else was bits and pieces.

9 hours ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Other methods like what?

1 day ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Nuke it from orbit, it's the only way to be sure

1 day ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

TWO flamethrower drones.

1 day ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 0

Apache Gunship

1 day ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Maybe attach a chainsaw or something to the drone instead and use that to knock down the nest?

1 day ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

tie two adjacent corners of a big sheet to the guard rail and then pull the opposite edge tight against the concrete and then pull it between the nest and the concrete (possibly with a sawing motion). The intention being to dislodge the nest such that it falls into the sheet. I have no idea if this would work.

1 day ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Oh, it might work, but you’re going to be dealing with some angry hornets.

23 hours ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

If the damn drone can spray napalm it can damn well spray insecticide and not light f****** structures on fire

1 day ago | Likes 21 Dislikes 0

Where's the fun in that?

18 hours ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I would think this method is more environmentally friendly unless you burn the whole structure down

21 hours ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Well, it's obviously concrete... historically pretty fire retardant. Spraying chemicals, nah. I'd rather see a bit of fire than an introduction of carcinogens directly in an urban center.

20 hours ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Boring.

1 day ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

if you think aerial drone flamethrowers get upvotes, wait till you see entire buildings lit up

18 hours ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Anti aircraft gun, 88 millimetres.

1 day ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Wouldn't the wasps be a little tricky to target?

20 hours ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Aim for the nest, it's not wasp removal, it's nest removal.

14 hours ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Paying 12000 euro to remove the nest by hand usong anfucking crane (the useful mechanical contraption, not the 1939s baby carriers)

1 day ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

Your user name. 1939?

1 day ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

1930s caricatures of baby deliveries, using a crane or stork.

20 hours ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

1930s... you are stating that the stork does not bring the babies? I gotta catch up.
