Want to try my game Recompile? Here's a free demo

Hey Imgur,

I'm Phi and I'm making a game called Recompile, an explosive 3D Metroidvania hacking adventure. I've done a few Imgur posts over the past year and they've done alright, so we decided to release the demo for free this week as part of the Steam Game Festival!

We lost thousands of pounds due to this year's event cancellations such as GDC, E3 and EGX - things we're looking a little bleak until Steam dropped us a lifeline, offering us a slot to participate in this week's online event. There are over 40+ demos from games that would have been shown at these events. It's a huge help for small, indie studios who have lost significant amounts of money already invested in these shows.

So if you want to give Recompile a go, please check out the Steam Game Festival: Spring Edition (will only be live until Monday).

The demo is a sandboxy prototype from 2019 which was made specifically for events, and a lot will change between this and the final product - but it should still give you a little taste of what's to come!

If you do try it, please let me know what you think - all feedback is super helpful for us since we're a tiny team :)
