That's four in five minutes. Can't even block them from leaving a message. I am job hunting so can't ignore calls/delete messages without listening to them either.

Apparently it's not just me.

STG, I almost never got spam texts when Biden was president but I’m back to getting at least 3 a week now

I regularly get 5ish spam calls every single day.

Some major company definitely got hacked recently and is covering up a data breach. We see this all the time. You see a mass spike in spam calls, emails and texts. Then months later some security expert finds that everyone affected had their data leaked in dark web torrent and then the company is forced to admit the failure and offer services to mitigate it. For what little that is worth in the end.

Same. I now answer, "this small business isn't interested in spam." If it's a real person we bond and laugh.

Messages about consolidation loans and tax relief like clockwork in afternoon 3-4 calls a day.

I've started getting letters about the consolidation. Much easier to ignore

At&t? I feel like that is part of the problem.

There are a few apps you can use to filter calls like HIYA. Some are specific to your wireless provider like ACTIVEARMOR. To be honest though, putting yourself on a do not call list is just going to put you on someone's call list.

Yeah I turned on the following on my phone. Doesn't seem to do a thing. Maybe it made them angrier?

I've had my phone for a month. In that month I received 211 calls, 209 of which were "Scam Likely". I'm not looking for a job and don't give a shit about "emergencies" so I NEVER answer my phone. If you can't text me, you can't talk to me because our phone system is worthless. I don't have a phone really. I have a mobile computer that accepts texts and occasionally responds to them.

Really wish I could export my call log to determine what % of calls I've received were marked as likely spam or ended up actually being spam because it has to be well over 70% of my incoming calls, easily.

That's awful

It gets worse. I get a couple TEXTS a day from scammers. We have created a system where actual people can't contact each other because there is so much chaff from AI bullshit robocalling(texting) agents that we literally can't find a way to communicate between them. Our news is all fake, our social media is AI slop, and our phone numbers are just targets for robospamming bullshit. 100 years ago people had more efficient and workable ways to contact others than we do now.
