Chanties for sure.. just pull from the top and notice. The not true gills will pull off and are just kinda warbly

If their stem is hollow at the base they are false chantrelles. If not, then they appear to be chantrelles.

Also there is a slight difference in gill appearance between false and real chantrelles but can't tell from the picture.

One of the easiest and safest to identify. And one of the most delicious. Chop, dry on pan, add butter and chopped onion, then cream.

Season with salt, black pepper, and you have a great sauce. Goes fantastic with mashed potatoes and salmon. And now I'm hungry.
