a few years ago, i was at a zoo and it was extremely hot, about 105 degrees freedom, (i think that's in the mid 30s for you metric types) and i went to see the bears because why not. the bears are right next to the tigers so it's always packed

the tiger was just sittin around, not doing anything. almost all the animals thought it was too hot to move. except that black bear. the crowd was doing the usual loud murmur crowds are known for, so when my friend mentioned the bear was really active,

 i said to him quite loudly,

"YEAH ESPECIALLY CAUSE HE'S BLACK"

the crowd went quiet. it took me longer than it should have to figure out what i said.

in my mind, i tried to say "that's surprising, because the bear not only has fur, but the fur is black, which draws more heat, i bet he's baking"
