San Pedro, people. C'mon. He was from what would be modern day California, but was then latin America. He even has a town named after him. Though he was himself an apostle of Jesus, he called his followers "Minutemen" for the cumulative minutes they would spend in prayer and playing short, rapid-fire songs for people's entertainment.

No actually they were called Minutemen because they were really really tiny! I know because I once saw them, from a long way away.
