Had this zippo 15 years and the hinge finally gave out. Sent it to the USA from Korea, they fixed it and sent it back for free. Quality service.

I contacted 1 point and they sent me a keychain with a penny on it and said the one penny never spent to repair a Zippo lighter.

I used to work in a 'pawn shop' some dude brought in over 2000 military zippos his father collected over the years.
It took a few days to sort through them, and get a price on it all.
I spent 12 hours over those days on the phone with Zippo customer service after sending them photos of the collection.
30 days later (legal requirement) a Zippo representative came in and bought every single one. Apparently most of them are in some Zippo museum now.

Zippo, Victorinox, Omega watches, and Leatherman(10 years ago) has provided the best customer experiences I have ever had. Needless to say, I stick with them.

That type of service is nearly extinct. Glad I stopped smoking, but having a zippo was definitely a cool little toy.

I don't and never have smoked, but I carry a zippo anyway.

Also a non smoker. I don’t carry mine, but every so often I flip it open and closed just to hear that click, the soundtrack of my youth when my dad smoked.
