Huge fan of punching nazis, but we also need to remove their support. You can do that by engaging with local politics and ensuring that the far right are NOT the first to listen to and act on local issues.

Correct. Even if you shoot all the Nazis, if you don't get more involved in politics at all levels and run candidates actually worthy of holding office, it will all just go back to shit. The fascists took over the GOP by running for every office, every time, and aggressively primarying politicians who didn't cater to them. We can do the same to politicians who are too lethargic and unenthusiastic about stopping fascism and supporting common sense policies for the common good.
