One of the greatest scenes in fiction

"Six men came to kill me one time. And the best of 'em carried this. It's a Callahan full-bore auto-lock. Customized trigger, double cartridge thorough gauge. It is my very favorite gun … This is the best gun made by man. It has extreme sentimental value … I call her Vera."
―Jayne Cobb

Jane is such a good character. "Me: Jane Cobb!" "I know your name, Jackass."

none of the words describing the gun mean anything in that order. Wait, Customized Trigger does, but the rest.

I built a Vera, dressed up as Jayne, and met Adam Baldwin while holding it. He said "nice Vera." One of the best days of my life.

I noticed...If you put the scope to your eye, those rear stock bullets are gonna dig into your cheek and give you a much bigger smile.

I'd still rather have a bolter.

After reading the 'science' behind them? It's a freaking mass-reactive exploding shell that has 2 ignition stages, so its a mini-rocket?

Leave it for them to step on

Shoot it at the ground, leave traps for your enemies.

much bigger caliber than an AK. Also looks to have more in common with a CZ. Damn, I used to remember exactly what it was.(2)

No it's not.

The stamped metal parts of the receiver look Kalashnikov-ish to me

It's a Saiga 12 shotgun, heavily modified.

Agreed: placement of the 2 pins above the trigger look identical

And it's says it's a Saiga 12 on the IMFDB

I'm pretty sure this is an image of the actual prop, which is not an ak. It's a similar style, probably kalishnakov made, but it's a(1)

My buddy Joe made it. The original was built on a Saiga, but I think he built his on an AK 47 Airsoft. I'll have to ask.

Saiga sounds right to me, and I did know.
