So my sister has a 10 month old black lab that is her whole world. I babysat the pup while she was away and printed his paws on this canvas. It plan to frame it but it doesn't look complete yet. I've had it for a month now and I've had no inspiration!! Please help!!! I want to give it to her ASAP. The pups name is Mondavi after Robert Mondavi wine and he is the goofiest lovable lab.

I like it the way it is, but I always have been a fan of black and white art

At this point all you'd be able to add is some texture. Take a really old fat brush or fat sponge or woolly rag and tap the ink around it

maybe do a silhouette of his face in a light gray shade

leave it get a simple metallic frame.. and then break it over your sisters head for naming her dog after shit wine

I would take a paint knife and smear paint in 2-3 colors diagonally across, in between and around the paws making an abstract. Then (1/2)

(2/2) using my fingers, Id splatter a metallic silver or gold over in a few places on top. I can send you ideas in a message if youd like

Another idea would be to create some kind of pattern behind the paw prints with little white borders around them to keep them crisp.

Geometric patterns or swirls of color or something to make it look flashy. That's my suggestion!

Amber wash?

tint the background with a light yellow umber, something to create the effect of age. Tea staining will do the trick, too.
