Chicken free chicken. Unlike the soy stuff this one is made of pea protein and has been hyped as tasting very much like chicken.
Unfortunately frozen it looks like poop
Still looks a bit like poop but smells like pea.
Had it with actual chicken to compare. It tastes like crispy overcooked chicken but it does have a bit of a strange aroma about it.
Naturally we fed the leftovers to the chickens. They approve.

First thought coming to mind was that you had bought chicken that had not been fed chicken based feed. Because chickens are cannibals.
