Just a milk crate.

Today was a good day to have a milk crate. I'm an electrician by trade. Knocked out my first two calls this morning really quickly. While I waited at the gas station for my third call I over heard a man looking for one of these. He asked the staff and manager if they had any to spare or he could purchase.

At least once a week the gas station I normally visit (not the one above) gives me a milk crate. I use them in my work van and on jobs. While checking on some new shades that were over priced I heard this gentleman ask for the milk crate. Knowing my buddy down the road always had one for me, I offered him one of mine.

We make it to my work van and I quickly empty one out and handed it to him. The look on his face was worth it. It was like him finding the Holy Grail. He examined it for a bit, I asked if that is what he was looking for. He responded with, "Man, my daughter has this project for school and we have looked everywhere." Damn, I was just trying to help a guy out, didn't know I was saving a daughter's dad.

Today was a good day to have a milk crate.
