In the midst of the shit fight that is Israel, some interesting news. Moths like quiet plants.
No, not sentience, no Aristotle Tomato. Just plants whinging about their conditions.

Vegas are annoying, almost as annoying as people whining about vegans

The conclusion is ass about face, the moths would have evolved this to find the plants that haven't got anything eating them already, it would not be a matter of not laying eggs on unhappy plants, if every plant was unhappy they will still need to lay, if one plant in ten wasn't unhappy that plant would give maximum possible results for a clutch of eggs.

Strict veganism requires either starving to death or being a hypocrite.
Essentially all of our food necessarily uses some kind of animal labour.

All?
What about someone living on the land and manually farming?
beemarr
Are people farming the land not animals doing labor?
BoblovesMac31415101
That's what I asked.

I avoid meat and fish out of economic necessity.
BoblovesMac31415101
That sucks.
You can't fish or hunt then?

Was an excellent fly-fisher, one of grandad's books was "Mostly About Trout", also fairly handy with a 12 bore. Either of these would be a considerably more expensive solution than the supermarket - also live in a city centre.

I never forget how lucky I am to live where I can feed myself from mostly fish.
I'm in New Zealand you are Swiss?

English ex-pat living in Switzerland for the last 35 years (now 70). We certainly live in two of the most beautiful countries!

I'm 60, not going to make much more unfortunately.
I had a heart attack dragging my boat back to the car this year and it's getting pretty dicy.
I certainly have enjoyed the outdoors a lot, glad my kids get to spend more time living than I did.
Years of just working took their toll.
