These two videos came from this dump https://imgur.com/gallery/little-bit-of-everything-first-dump-NyGkyBi#/ a few months ago

They have drastically improved my life

Hats off to you, @HappyMirror

Save this for later when I'm in pain and remember about it the next day

*face down & ass sticking out* STRETCH HERE

1 year ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

#1 My spine hurts just looking at that, but then again it is also a bent spine.

1 year ago | Likes 51 Dislikes 2

thank you... I was searching for this video

I started doing one of the stretches shown by these folks, and it's really helped!

1 year ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Wow, it makes me happy if I could help you with my stupid dump!

Bless you for resharing. I will use this once I stop being sick because these would definitely trigger more coughing fits and my lungs have been battered enough

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yeah stretching won't really solve my kyphosis as its due to the shape of the vertebrae themselves...

1 year ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I really need to try this, but I genuinely have problems kneeling or laying. I'll see if I can work something out... if I remember.

I always get my medical advice from 60s video clips on the internet

1 year ago | Likes 110 Dislikes 1

I do understand that, but these are the exact stretches my physiotherapist gave me for my thoracic radiculopathy and shoulder/upper back issues.

That said, I wouldn't recommend taking the advice of a random person on the internet too, but for those of you in the US who can't afford to go to a physiotherapist...

...remember the breathe through the stretch, use a cushion/yoga mat, and if it hurts at all - STOP.

To the rest of the world with actual health care, go see a professional.

It's the extra 45 seconds that lets you know it is based on science!

1 year ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

Here I was thinking where did you find medical videos online from the 1960s...

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

ill also definitely do these exercises some day.

1 year ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I wanna try these but I don't have that much floor space

1 year ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Do it in public and make society suffer your back pain.

1 year ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Gods I wish my anxiety would let me do that

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

What's the little clock mean? Because I doubt I can hold those poses for 8 hours.

1 year ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

It's telling you to do these exercises for 30 seconds each, every 8 hours: morning, mid-afternoon, and right before bed.

https://www.fivebelow.com/products/foam-roller-12in-x-6in this thing is a life saver for me and my fellow computer jockeys that sit in chairs all damn day

1 year ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

I have a favorite towel for rolling up, those rollers are all much too thick for me

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

well basically you're supposed to reverse-plank with your shoulders on the roller, and work back to your lower back and then back up -- if you're too low to the ground it doesn't work as well because you can't arch backwards enough over it or when you get to the lower back.

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

So. I done just did all of these. Thank you. Thank you so much. My back is feeling so much better. I'm doing this daily

1 year ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Yeah #1 is my nightly before bed now!

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Does this man have a channel or page i can follow?

It's amazing how many exercises you can't do with a busted ecu (wrist tendon that let's you bend your hand back, for shit like push ups)

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

these work. i have issues at C4-C7 and that translates to T1-T3 being pissed off all the time. SUPER FUCKING HARD to stretch or move t1-t3. do these. they help.

1 year ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 0

I sadly understand this all too well. And yes. They do help big time. EDS keeps me doing this stuff all the time.

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Good to know. I think strengthening exercises like I t y helps a lot too

1 year ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

i bought a 'comfortrac' unit and i have to use it every day

That's what I do with these. Never to return.

1 year ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Hey! I returned! It took several months of having a daily reminder that I ignored, but I'm finally here to do these exercises.

10 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I have a Inforgraph/Tutorial favorites folder for these types of things. I check it out when I finally get motivated to better myself.

1 year ago | Likes 22 Dislikes 0

Yeh no. I damaged my tailbone and crushed cartilage by falling and landing similar to how he's hitting with that hammer. Periodically I have to go have my legs tugged on to realign it with the rest of me because I can't afford the fucking surgery.

I like the reveal at the end that we can go up to an 8 lb sledgehammer if "medically necessary".

what what... in the butt

1 year ago | Likes 50 Dislikes 0

put a little tiny man...

1 year ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

That is how you break your cocyx, which is part of your spine, incredibly painful and a reasonable chance of nerve damage to your leg and groin regions into the mix. Never, ever do this.

1 year ago | Likes 41 Dislikes 0

Wait.... I fell on my tailbone in 9th grade in gym class. Then in my 20s often when running or lifting something heavy or certain sex positions my upper hamstring just below by butt cheek will cramp. Could that be related?

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It's possible, the relevant nerves run all through there.

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Hm... Right where the "o" is just below the cheek. That's pretty much it.

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

you could talk to a physiotherapist potentially, medically speaking any nerve damage is 99.9999% lifelong by now, but might be possible to mitigate the effects
