It’s been a long and wild and crazy decade Imgur and much has changed. Whomever you are and whatever you are doing- I hope you are well.

When I was a freshman a was short and fat. The bullies back in the day were a different breed of evil. The kind of guys who cut the gay boy’s throat out behind the playground and got away with it because they were good at football. I was a target, to say the least. They called us nerds “Worms”. I barely survived Freshman year. Then over that summer I went from 5’8” to 6’3”. I learned some Judo. I grew up. Beginning of sophomore year they tried to drown me in a rain barrel out behind the art >>

oh they still got away with it, happened at my school to a trans girl. They boasted about it, everyone knew they did it, but nothing was ever done. They tried to push many others into suicide, no doubt they succeeded. Utah has one of the highest suicide idealation rates in general as it is.

I never grew up, they did vanish in senior year. I wonder if they were killed or silently carted off to another school.

The kid that got his throat cut lived. He moved to Boston after that. Some of his family from there were rumored to be “made men” and the ringleader of the bullies did wind up dead in a Aldi parking lot a couple years down the road. Of the other three, two are in jail, one for meth, the other for murder. And their little tag-a-long moved to the west coast to be with another guy. I hope realizing what he was hiding about himself woke him up.
